I've had a lot of service people in my homes over the years. This was a 5 star great install. On time, super clean, explained every step and made me confident I got the best installation I could.

Great cooktop. I like the design. Wasn't prepared to have it need a plug for electricity, but have found a way to make it work.

Randy and Jake made a difficult installation seamlessly. GE cooktops are a little smaller than current standards. Randy and Jake spent the patient time required enlarging the opening for a perfect fit.

The service men were clean, neat and polite. Went right to work, knew exactly what they were doing and finished quickly. They were helpful in answering some operational type questions.

good work to install cooktop but it's not cleaned well after finishing so there were remained pieces of glasses left over from removing previous cooktop.

The techs arrived on time and even though there was little confusion about the opening for the cooktop, there were more than willing to try and fit the new cooktop properly after a few adjustments.

We purchased BOSCH cooktop NGM8657UC from Best Buy in Aug 2020, it was delivered and installed towards the end of September 2020. This video was made on 18-Jan-2021 because BOSCH customer service stated the problem lied with cleaning the cooktop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGbazkljmdE&feature=youtu.be I’m a vegetarian and cook all three meals at home so the cooktop’s tagline ‘Cook with precision’ was very impressive at first but it failed to stand true. To begin with I was always struggling to cook simply because the lower flame (simmer) burners are in front and high flame ones at back; if I started cooking on lower flame ones it felt like it took ages to even stir fry and if I start cooking at the rear, I was falling way too over my food simmering on the front flame risking burning myself. It was like juggling and guessing which burner to use for what and finally I figured I could only use the center one for day to day cooking else I was just wasting time or getting burnt (several times a day) in hopes of cooking with precision. As if this struggle wasn’t enough, with the start of Dec’20 the right front burner started giving odd flames that were hitting the cooktop surface and staining it. It wasn’t until the surface was fairly dark that we noticed what was actually happening and soon it started happening with the left rear burner. So, basically, I’m wondering what the tagline means when nothing about this cooktop is precise neither it’s design nor its performance? I would like to ask the designers of this cooktop as to why they chose to put the smaller burners in front? And if they tested their design in normal household setting or was it tested only inside a lab? Definitely designed by someone who eats out and never cooks at home.

Installation was a breeze. The guys were exceptional. No issues at all. Seemed like they were done in minutes. Kept me up to date on when they would arrive.
