    Horrible job

    Cooktop was loose, oven was mounted off and ruined my baseboard and cabinets when installing my dishwasher. I had to call the company to come again and fix issue. When I asked the installers why a horrible job they said they were in a rush. Unacceptable for the amount I paid for all appliances and the added installation fees

    Gas leaking from our new stove

    I called for a redo of our gas stove installation a second time because It’s still leaking gas and the soonest it can be done is June 10th and we are 68 and 64 retirees and cannot use or cook on our stove for two weeks. I believe we should get this problem fixed and not get charge for it and do it sooner than June 10th

    Very unsatisfied with the installation

    First, I was never told about additional charges for "cuts". The installer over cut the counter past where the cook top extends. It's higher on one end than the other. The counter was scratched on both sides of the cook top. Chip was made in the back of the counter behind the cook top. Holes were not covered due to the wrong measurement of cut.

    Installer took one look a d refused to install it. Said he couldn't turn the gas supply off, but he left it turned off. Also said my setup made it impossible. I called someone else and they has it going in no time and couldn't figure out what the installer was talking about and charged me half as much.

    Best Buy failed to deliver the product with the stove top. The contractor said they had to replace a part on installation. With this and a hood, our free installation cost $300. Scheduling delivery was horrible.

    Missed my service window by 4 hours then insisted the earliest new time was a week later. I took off work in the morning to wait for them and now have to wait an extra week before I can use my appliance. Best Buy also missed my other appliance install time forcing me to reschedule. The service is completely unreliable.

    Install company cancelled Thurs. appt due to emergency. Rescheduled for Friday pm. No call no show. Called late Fri. and said would TRY to install Sat. Again, no call no show. Called late 9pm Sat. stated earliest they could get to me would be Tue. Cancelled install and asked for refund of charges. Store personnel were good. Don't use install services.

    Product didn't fit the space and installer ripped out the exhaust system and didn't re -install it when he put the original back in. Your online system for ordering major appliances sucks. Leaves out important considerations with regard to insuring a successful finished product.

    Salesman recommended an oven that would fit. When it was installed, it didn't fit and can't be used. Installer hasn't called me back. Have left emails, text messages and phone messages for Best Buy staff, no one replies or calls me back. Three weeks trying now.

    I did not recieved a call when they arrived, they arrived early and the customer service rep that sold me the cooktop did not tell me that someone can come to my house for free to take measurements before the installation, i had to pay another $100 for them to cut the piece off for my cooktop to fit. I was extremely upset.

    Polite, but they did not complete the install process because the cut out wasn’t perfectly aligned for the cooktop. Apparently all they can do is remove the old top, and wire on the new one. Not even minor modifications are in their scope of work.

    We had granite cut to manufacturer specs that were provided by Best Buy. Installer said cooktop would not fit. Had to have it installed by someone else. It was no problem, but we basically paid twice....

    Inistaller plumbed the gas regulator in backwards so the cooktop could not get fuel. Had to have a second technician come back to figure out what was wrong. Found it odd the first installer did not check to make sure the unit was working.

    Service install was over 2 hours after window and then didn't want to install it, b/c they said it didn't fit. We already had stove top measured and it was deemed that it would fit. After I told them they couldn't leave until after new stove top was installed, everything fit w/o any modifications. It shouldn't be this hard!

    I had to reschedule this appointment at least a dozen times due to a glitch on Best Buy’s system. When i finally got somebody out to install my cook top i was charged another $75 by their third party contractors on top of the $140 I already paid Bestbuy.

    The installation company broke my glass stovetop, never completed the installation, I had to hire a real professional to install the stovetop, they never made good on the damages to my property. I hope Best Buy makes good.

    Installers didn't do a great job with the install. Cooktop wasn't secured well to the counter or sealed. Electric cord was left hanging. Very unimpressed with the install service when paying so much for a cooktop. Should of went to Lowe's or Home Depot.

    Gas leak

    I was told the valve and other parts had to be changed because it was a different size. I paid $150 for the them and to replace it. It was not done properly and found later that gas was leaking. Had to hire a handyman to come and fix it asap.

    beautiful cooktop

    I am very pleased with my new viking cooktop. After looking around I found the layout of the 5 burners to be the most efficient use of space. Also, since we are all on the small side we like the knobs up front where they are more easily reached

    Poor and Dangerous Installation

    The installer cracked the plug and taped it back together with electrical tape. He forced the plug into the wall outlet and broke one of the inserts. I had to hire an electrician to come out and replace both the plug and wall receptacle before we had a fire.
