      Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. The iCUE 4000X includes RGB fans. Otherwise, we have many RGB fan kits to pick from - they also include the necessary controller for RGB lighting control. If you have any questions, we'd be happy to help: support.corsair.com

Bought this for a new build. Typo in the Full Specs said it had external 3.5 drive access. Have a media card reader and other older equipment to put in. Got it, no it didn't, manufacturer website made no reference to external drives and pictures show no space for rails. Called customer support and had it returned. Trust but verify before buying. This did not serve my purpose.

      Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. You are able to purchase larger capacity drives and memory modules. In regard to the overheating - I suggest making sure you have a sufficient number of fans and that their airflow direction is properly oriented - front intake, then exhaust through the rear and top. If you have any questions, please reach out - we'd be happy to assist: help.corsair.com

Very nice upgrade from my old Corsair 450D

I have been rocking am old Corsair 450D for about 6 years. I decided to do a full rebuild and Best Buy had this case in stock at a great price. I ended up adding a full suite of 120ML Pro RGB fans so my setup is not what it is like out of the box. That being said, I love the design of this case. Only a few nitpicks that you have to mind. I think I will have a couple builds in the case. PROS - Ample room to cable manage, comes with ties and straps - Good fan/radiator space - Improved panel and dust filter systems to my 450D - Sleek, minimal design CONS - Lackluster IO panel (also not a huge fan of top side IO) - Tempered glass makes it heavier than my 450D - Only comes with 2 non-rgb fans out of the box - Storage options are on the low side Given what I know now, I am happy with my purchase. The use of NVMe drives make storage a non issue and there's less cables too. Mounting the SSD's on top of the PSU shroud sets them pretty close to the motherboard so mind your cables. As others say, the glass tint is heavy. This case is meant for RGB or for those who like subtlety. NOTE: I was able to fit a Corsair 280mm Elite Capellix on the top with Corsair's new Vengeance RGB PRO *SL* RAM but the fans literally touch the sticks.

    Case too small

I had to exchange this case for the 5000D. This case was too small for my build if you plan to use a large air CPU cooler, since the top mesh panel cannot be removed. And you also can't mount top exhaust fans on the top side; it can only be mounted on the bottom side of the top mesh panel. But again, there won't be room if you use a large air CPU cooler.

I've owned this case for around 2 years now and wowie, this case is really good. It looks nice, has amazing airflow, and easy to build in. The airflow especially, is good, I've never had a heat issue with it. And when you look at other cases for this price point, it just can't compare with them. Working in this case was a little difficult for me however. But since it was my first build, and it's just me so what can you expect lol. Anyways I would highly recommend this case to anyone, especially beginners.

    Minimal and effective case!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This was my first PC build and had this case recommended to me by friends. The reviews online were positive and I have to say I agree with them. The case is large enough to work around in, the cable management is made simple with the provided corsair straps. So much room for airflow within the case. The only downside is that you are guaranteed to have to invest more money in cooling than this case alone. It was my own fault, but I had assumed that the case came with 3 intake fans and one outtake on the back like other cases I had looked at… No, it just has one of each, which leads to pretty minimal airflow without purchasing additional fans or an AIO cooler. No issues yet, but just be aware that the great price of this case needs to be factored into the fact that you will be purchasing more fans

    Best Case I have Owned

One of the best cases I've used. I've been building PC's for 20 years now. This one for $80 is by far the "Best Buy" I've ever got on a case. Sleek design, solid frame and great cable management built-in. The two 120mm fans are quiet, plus you have room to expand and add 5+ more. Magnetic cover on top, plus a dust cover on front and bottom keep the machine easy to clean. The darkened glass exposes the lights on the inside of the machine, but also is dark enough to help shade away some bad cable management or other less desired. Here is my video review of the case. https://youtu.be/-azxMQ2d6UU

Very nice case. Great airflow and spacious for mid tower builds. Not the greatest for custom water loops but still do-able. Only thing that would make it perfect is if it would go back to being sub $100...

    Lovely Little Mid Tower.

This is a fantastic little case. It has excellent wire management and airflow. It can take relatively large air or water cooling. The Filters are nice. The snap/retention setup for the front grill and side panels is great. It even looks great. Ironically it's not photogenic, ie it doesn't look to good in a lot of photos, but in person it's a super clean great looking little case. My mother's old case got damaged, so I ran down to pick this up from a local Best Buy, just to get her up and running. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and ease of moving the parts from the old case into this one. The build was running pretty cool with the stock fans, but I did upgrade the front to a 140mm fan I had laying around new in a box.
