When I went to store to pick it up, it was marked for MAC, it should have worked with the PC I was installing it in, but it did not. I am sure it works great in Macs, but the PC did not like it. I would prefer that it states Mac in the description, but it did not. The board I installed the sticks into supports the advertised speed, but it would not boot with any configuration of one or two sticks. Best Buy did take it back so I could exchange it for another 1 stick kit, but it wasn't Corsair.

The most frequent cause of this kind of error is insufficient memory. Bought and installed this, doubling the memory in the computer and performance is much improved. It runs faster and the "not responding" errors are gone.
