Big difference, boots quicker, runs snappier with much less lag. Next will be an SSD drive. Was very easy to install, online tutorials or instructions posted on Apple support.

When I bought it, it had MAC written on the packaging. Which I had some concerns over. I installed it very easily, but my laptop did not like the memory. I am not sure what happened, but I double checked it twice... reinstalled the old memory and the computer worked. I returned these 2 chips and got a single 8GB chip which worked perfectly. This memory may be good for some machines, but not the laptop I was putting it into - which was not a Mac. I don't want to put a negative review because it didn't work in my machine. This may work for someone else.
