The “geek” retrieved this and assured us it was the proper ram. Uh..No this is DDR3 and the new iMacs take DDR4. We didn’t catch this until we got home. Thanks for the extra trip Best Buy. Do your research before you shop at Best Buy, the “geeks” have no idea. They don’t even carry the ram to upgrade to 16 Gb in the store.

Disappointed but still loyal

Naturally I was disappointed. Otherwise, all my Best Buy experiences have always been top notch. I'll stay with you, but do a little homework next time.
