I am going to be returning it for a second time. First time the dongle was not connecting and now the bottom switch got stuck. I like the mouse but I've had two major problems for something that's fairly expensive.

First open package, the mid button already having click problem, really hard to click, but I like the RGB light a lot, so I keep it. But only 5 months of usage, the left click button start to make every single click to double click. That's super bad quality and unacceptable result. Since the only way to get problem solve is DIY or manufacturing warranty. Let's see how they handle it wisely.

A wired mouse at a wireless price

The wireless system is complete garbage with regular connection drops. If you use it wired, it is great, but then just buy a cheaper wired mouse instead. If you do a google search you'll see this is a common problem with these wireless mice and there is no fix. My fix was to return it and replace it with a wired Logitech G502 Hero. It was a great decision.

Most gamers probably prefer a wired mouse to prevent any sort of delay. With the Dark Core RGB Pro Wireless FPS/MOBA Gaming Mouse, you get nice, responsive mouse. The SLIPSTREAM wireless connection works well. Our gaming PC is about 10 feet behind where we sit to play and it works just fine. We haven't tried Bluetooth yet, but they recommend only using that for non-gaming. Using the iCUE software, you can set the Polling rate, with the fastest being 2000 Hz / 0.5 msec. Also, you can set the lighting for the mouse (choosing from several preset styles) and the DPI level for the 3 quick-click DPI settings. There is also a profile selection button on top to cycle between 3 profiles (set up in iCUE). Battery life seems to be decent for the rechargeable battery, with it going about 7 weeks before needing to charge the second time, but it does only gets used about 8-10 hours on the weekends. It does come with a long, USB-C cable (about 3 ft.) to use for charging or as a USB connected mouse. There are interchangeable plates (with magnetic catches) for the right side, one with a ledge (similar to the left side) to rest your fingers/prevent fingers from rubbing on the surface, and one without. My son uses it the most (mainly playing this game called Fortnite or something). He likes using it (better than the Logitech mouse before) and has the different buttons assigned to different quick actions. To me, the mouse is just a little too wide, but I am used to Logitech M705 and M720 mice, which fit my hand better. He gives it 5-stars, I give it 3.5, hence the 4-star rating.

The performance is nice. You can customize the color and it has a nice amount of weight to is as well. You can set the DPI up crazy high and I like the fact that when I flip over the mouse the laser turns off. So no blinding bright red light. This is the second one of this serious I have gotten. Only downfall is after about a year the battery stops holding a charge. Which is fine if you get the geek squad protection. The protection plan covers the battery issue, plus they just give you a gift card for the amount you paid for this to go get a different mouse.

Bought this mouse at the beginning of the year. It was working fine until today. Does not turn on or work any longer. Did a soft reset, unplugged/replugged in, nothing seems to be working. Very frustrating. Not even 4 months of having the mouse and there is issues...

This is my second Corsair gaming mouse. But my first wireless gaming mouse. The capabilities are great, not only is it wireless via their Slipstream receiver, but you can also use it with Bluetooth or plug it in with the included USB cable. It has an internal rechargeable battery, several lights and an extra right-side piece that allows your finger to rest on it making to more comfortable for long use. The iCue software is pretty good and has a learning curve to it. Thankfully there are videos available on Corsairs web site that help a little. Not the best videos, but they get you started in figuring out how to configure the mouse. You can configure things like lighting patterns, mouse tracking and special effects with the lights. The software is Corsair's main RGB configuration hub. It allows you to configure any Corsair RGB lighting device. Whether it is this mouse, a gaming keyboard, liquid cooler, headset, RAM or RGB fans, this software controls all the lighting. You can even save the lighting profile to the device, so no matter what computer you hook it up to the last profile is used. Corsair could do a better job with documentation of all of the features within the software so it can be easily understood what each function does and how to apply them.

Would not recommend this mouse. When PC is in sleep mode, the movement of the mouse will wake it but the mouse will no longer function. It appears that the mouse works poorly with Corsair keyboards. Did firmware updates to no avail. Would not recommend. Also, ICue software sucks.

    Awesome Wireless Gaming Mouse

Finding a comfortable and quality gaming mouse is not easy. Especially when it comes to wireless mice. Until recently you had to sacrifice speed and accuracy for mobility. Wireless mice were just not on par with wired gaming mice. I believe that this is no longer the case and there are actually a few quality wireless gaming mice on the market. This being one of them. One of my favorite things is that the top of it where your palm rests is made of a different softer material that is comfortable to touch. The RGB lighting is a nice edition. It is fully customizable just like on gaming keyboards. The downloadable software allows for full customization of this mouse. It has enough buttons to use for gaming but no so many that it becomes overwhelming. It has an included charging cable which is USB-C to regular USB. One downfall is that there is not an included USB-C to USB-c. It also offers both wireless USB and Bluetooth connection. The mouse was very responsive and perfect for gaming regardless of which way it was connected. If you are looking for a wireless gaming mouse I would highly recommend giving this one a chance.

    Another Excellent Corsair Mouse

For me the battle always comes down to Corsair and Logitech when purchasing a wireless gaming mouse. The Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro is another excellent iteration in the Dark Core line of mice. The PixArt sensor is top-of-the-line and allows for user adjustment up to 18,000DPI. Coupled with the SLIPSTREAM wireless connection and this is one lightning fast mouse. The nice thing is that it can also be connected via Bluetooth is you want to maybe travel with the mouse and not carry the dongle around yet keep it wireless. Build quality is always first rate and it is relatively lightweight (which could be a pro or con depending on your preference as it isn't user adjustable). Also a big fan of the thumb rest which keeps me from dragging my thumb on the pad during long sessions. More RGB lighting than you can shake a stick at if that's your thing. Battery life does take a noticeable hit with it on though so I play with it off and see over a week's worth of playtime before needing to charge. Overall, this is a top quality mouse at a very reasonable price. Definite recommend from me.

I'm newer to computer gaming and I don't need a mouse that has 27 buttons like some of these more intricate ones do. It has all of the best functional features a gamer could ask for. It can be Bluetooth or wired, very responsive and sensitive, and feels great in your hand. It has better contour to it than a traditional computer mouse which is important for the hours you can get sucked into a game. The height of the click wheel is perfect. The feel of the clicks is satisfying yet quiet. Charging is quick enough, but I prefer a wired mouse. The weight of it is perfect, not heavy but also not too light so it feels flimsy and cheap. It also does great just being used as a regular computer mouse!
