The ergonomics of this mouse is amazing! So far this has been the most comfortable mouse I’ve ever used. Battery life is awesome and RGB is bright! Without the RGB the battery lasts almost 2 weeks but I tend to keep it on so about 6 days til Corsair gives me a notification through the icue software to charge this puppy up.
I love the ergonomics / grip of this mouse. I have medium sized hands and this mouse worked great without the extra side grip. I tried using the extra side grip and it didn’t feel good but might with larger hands. Also, my thumb wasn’t bumping the side buttons which is a hug plus for me. I found the weight and glide of this mouse to be a great combination. It’s weightier than a lot of gaming mice. The mouse wheel has pronounced stages or feed back very similar to my first G502. Zero issues with connectivity or clicks, and that was without iCUE.

You can read my first impressions here on the PC Gamer Forums! https://forums.pcgamer.com/threads/corsair-dark-core-rgb-pro-first-impressions.3360/ And you can read their professional review, technical specifications and all, here! https://www.pcgamer.com/corsair-dark-core-rgb-pro-se-wireless-gaming-mouse-review/ CORSAIR is a brand I stand by. Ask my 10+ year old power supply. I own numerous CORSAIR products and they all serve my gaming needs remarkably well. The older design of this model was something that interested me, but didn't really fully intrigue my purchase. This model (the non Qi-Charging one) is more refined and really hits the mark. My favorite feature of the mouse is the light strip adjacent to the thumb buttons. The lighting is very customizable using the iCUE software, and looks great with a CORSAIR keyboard beside it. It takes some effort to tweak everything out, but it isn't difficult by any means. The construction is solid, styling isn't too aggressive or understated, and the weight is just right for me. The two interchangeable grips are a welcome nod to nomenclature. It performs brilliantly in games and I believe my accuracy and precision has gone up a tick because of that. I didn't purchase the Qi-charging SE model, because I'd like to wait for CORSAIR to develop something akin to Logitech's or Razer's wireless charging technology where the entire mousepad can be utilized for charging. Perhaps in the next year or two. This mouse will probably last a lifetime but I can see it becoming an excellent portable device. That, however, is my only dink. CORSAIR should have prioritized developing such tech to release a new mousepad that would coincide with a flagship product... instead, we're kind of getting more of the same. BUT, for me, this is an upgrade, not a replacement, so new tech in my hands makes up for the lack of "future-proofing." My previous mouse was a Logitech G700, which got many, many hours of use, mostly wired. At the MSRP, you are getting excellent value. I had been eyeing the ROG Spartha ahead of this mouse's release, which is almost twice the cost. Before that I had seen the Dark Core and thought, "Hmm, if they just tweak the RGB and that weird side button panel, I'm sold." Well CORSAIR read my mind, then BEST BUY had a sale! Cheers!
