Mic echo problem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased from Best Buy as a gift over the holiday. There was a weird mic echo, so we ended up exchanging them for a new set through Corsair (whose customer service was very helpful and pleasant). We got the new set last night and we're having all the same mic echo problems. I've done everything I can think of to try and resolve the problem, including updating/reinstalling drivers, using different ports, different computers, different devices, different programs... There's still a weird mic echo, it won't go away. I also haven't seen this problem online anywhere. It's like we're the only ones with the problem, despite it appearing on two different headsets on several different machines. Corsair customer service was good though. And sound quality seems all right. Admittedly we haven't listened through them too much, we're a bit disheartened about the mic.
