I was skeptical when I purchased this since the price was so low but it had the same exact specs as the higher end models. It was only missing being wireless (which I didn’t care about) and RGB lighting ( I really could care less about) If you don’t care about those features these headphones are the best deal! I have been playing Modern Warfare and the surround sound is perfect and so accurate for hearing enemies coming from any direction. Also very comfortable for long sessions. 10/10 for me and I used to have the expensive $299 turtle beach so I can say without a doubt if you don’t car about wireless or rgb there is no downgrade in quality here

These headphones are very comfortable. Great sound and frequency response when not used with the supplied USB DAC. I primarily use these for gaming. When coupled with the USB DAC the sound would crackle and clip, especially with lower frequency sounds such as explosions, to the point that it actually hurt my ears. The on board audio of my motherboard sounded better. But, coupled with a better USB DAC or dedicated sound card, these headphones are really impressive. Aesthetically, I like the all black design. No frills or gimmicks. Why waste money on LED light up headphones? Once they're on your head, you can't see them anyways. If your the type of person that wants to look like a clown puked on your head, so be it. The over the ear speakers are surrounded with foam covered by soft pleather and are actually quite comfortable. The comfortably snug, not skull crushingly tight like some I've tried. I like the location of the volume and mic mute, behind the left ear and easy to adjust. I also like the removable boom mic. The cord is wrapped in fabric and if it moves and rubs against something, during low volumes, you can hear it. Not too bad. I would prefer a rubber coated cord. It also sports a 3 ring 3.5mm plug that has the L/R speakers and mic. My sound card has separate headphone and mic connections. I would have like to see a headphone/mic splitter included instead of the USB DAC and saved $10. At only $50, these headphones are a really good deal. -1 star for the poor USB DAC and not including a headphone/mic splitter. Other than that I would recommend these headphones.

This microphone has surpassed my expectations when it comes to microphones. It has a very comfortable ear cushion, detachable microphone when I am not talking on the mic, adjustable, and it does include 7.1 Surround Sound, however, it is only for PC. I can use this microphone for more than 6+ hours and it still won't bother my ears or head, but again, that is a subjective comment since it depends on head-shape, ears, etc. This microphone does include a 3.5mm jack to USB that allows for 7.1 Surround Sound for computers. Although the 7.1 is only for computers, the normal usage for my Xbox One S is still amazing compared to other headphones I've used.

Greta headset. The mic is good for a headset. Not great like a standalone mic but good. It’s comfortable to wear and has a great volume level.

Very comfortable, love the removable mic, and good sound quality. Are you a glasses wearer? No worries! I play games for hours with both the headset and glasses on, with no discomfort! Only critique is on the iCUE software, not the greatest installation process, but fully functions!

These are nice but I wasn’t crazy about them. They feel soft and secure. The price is great for the quality compared to other brands. This is a trusted brand.

The audio of this headset is very good. I've not had the opportunity to test the mic. There's a lot of mic problem documentation on the internet and also several different solutions to resolve mic problems. The jury is still out on the mic. If I have no mic problems, this rating stands. I like the headset, it's very comfortable and reasonably priced. So far, so good.

These headset looks great, are very comfortable to wear for a long period of time and the sound quality is good too. To use the virtual 7.1 surround sound feature, you need to plug it in via USB (It won't work with just the 3.5 mm jack), install the Corsair iCue utility app and switch from stereo sound to 7.1 surround sound in the app. The microphone are detachable and they sound just fine. They're not great, but they're also not bad. They're reasonably price and they're definitely worth getting if you can buy them on a sale.

Love this headset! It has an open back so the sound stage is actually really great at this price. The mic is detachable and is great for taking out on casual walks, even though it's not exactly built for that. It comes with a USB adapter that's plug and play on windows machines as well as PS4. On Xbox you'll need a newer control with the 3.5mm jack at the bottom or an adapter. Overall, I strongly recommend this headset if you're on a budget and need something with pretty decent quality and durability.

Headset is great for PC, but Warning for laptop users. This headset includes a USB driver so that you can connect it to the Corsair application. There you can adjust EQ and activate 7.1 surround. However, the application is an SDK file and manipulates how your motherboard interacts with you audio IO. It drains the crap out of laptop batteries even when not in use. I downloaded it, which was not even noticible for better sound, and decided not to launch it anymore. It drained my battery and it took me a few hours to realize it was the app. I deleted it off my laptop and I'm back to normal battery. I just direct plug it into the headphone jack and I almost feel like it works better and I don't need the app. The headset also had to be tweaked a bit because it was still tight on my small heAd. So I had to bend it outward and it fits great now. Mic sounds great, love the quality cord and that the mic is detachable. Looks great too.

Lovely sound range, and excellent comfort. It looks sleek, high quality, and beautiful at a battle station. Ample room for ears in the soft but firm ear pads. For the price, it has high class looks and performance. It fits snugly on my head and with the plush, quilted padding I can barely feel it. Took it for a 6 hour test drive and without an ounce of discomfort. Mic was initially a bit fuzzy to listeners, but with a change of settings it works perfectly.

I can't attest for the microphone's quality but the sound quality and comfort are top notch!

This headset is great for people on a budget. For $50 you cannot go wrong. It has two metal forks holing the earcups in place. It is build like a tank. That being said i wish the sound was blocked out a little better, and my ears didn't get as hot. Also, the cable is non detachable, but the mic is. It does sound great, though, and plugs into everything that accepts a 3.5mm 4 pole connector. It comes with a mini USB sound card for pc, and you can customize the sound to your preference using corsairs own software. I bought mine for xbox, and so far I'm loving how comfortable it is for my big ears. I hope the next version come with cooling gel though.

I got this headset since it wasn't crazy expensive and looks like a comfy over-the-ear rig, and it delivers. The boom mic is unidirectional and I think it has noise cancelling, as my friends haven't complained about background noise when using Steam voice chat or Discord, even when routing game audio through external speakers. The headset has a single audio attachment jack, but has an interesting USB adaptor that allows for 5.1 surround sound, which may or may not be supported without the iCue app from Corsair. The iCue app allows for 5.1 sound and positioning to be enabled, along with default & per game sound profiles. Headset is pretty comfortable as it has soft over-the-ear pads and a padded head rest on top, but after a few hours I find myself adjusting the head rest because sometimes it weighs down on me with slight discomfort. I wear larger than normal hat sizes though, so it might just be my head.

Amazing headset! Has been my daily driver set for the past few years and outperform and out-comfort my Razer Kraken Pro v.2 for a fraction of the price! The sound quality is amazing, the headset themselves are very loud even without the use of a headset amplifier! Very good surround sound that plays well into all of the horror games I play!

Has great sound quality and I am told clear mic pick up, friends say they can hear me way better on discord. I've worn it for hours straight given quarantine and it's super comfy. I like the volume rheostat and mic mute button on the left headphone. Cord could be a couple feet longer, I'm using a USB extension cable to remedy that. Happy with my purchase, love the yellow accents.

Decent headphones for the prices I paid for them ! Pads on the headphones came off too easy though which is a huge negative. Rest of the build quality was really good !

Two main selling points for me : the price and detachable microphone. Sound is good, clear. Can tell where noises are coming from, for the most part. I'm assuming this might be better on more expensive headsets. It is a little heavier than I was expecting it to be. I tend to have to take breaks more often when using it. Overall I am very happy with the product.
