I almost hate to review this for fear of jinxing it :) We bought a different (cheaper) brand somewhere else and returned it because it didn't work. Not even one day. So we decided to spend a little more and got the Corsair. 1) The brand has been around for decades 2) We researched the item for what it was intended: online gaming. The set came very quickly and well-packaged. The online package tracking was very much appreciated. We were able to meet the (surprised) UPS driver at the door; so he handed us the box instead of leaving it on the porch. The set is well made, comfortable and WORKS! The sound is good and allows you to hear enemies sneeking up on you, cocking weapons, etc. The mouthpiece has good noise control and allows the voice to be heard clearly in group chat.

Good headphone for its price, comfortable, lightweight, and adjustable mic. Has about a 4ft cable for mobility and sound sensitivity for quality gameplay. I say it does go above its purpose and usage. 10/10 rating

Zero complaints. I got this with one day shipping from my local Best Buy, and was not disappointed whatsoever. Great mic quality, sound quality, and comfort for casual gaming and voice chat. Definitely much better for the price than the Turtle Beach Recon Spark headset I had purchased previously.

I used to have the Corsair HS60 (non-pro) headset. However, my brother broke that one somehow and I had to get a replacement. I was having trouble deciding, since several were on sale. I settled for this one since I really did like the original HS60. This one, being the Pro model, is so much nicer than the one I had before. The ear cushions are larger and softer, the headrest has a stitched design to it, and the overall build quality is much more premium. This headset feels very comfortable to wear and it doesn't hurt my ears after a while like the previous one did. I can wear this for hours without feeling any pain on my ears, thanks to the larger ear cushions covering my entire ear. Sound quality and mic quality is about the same as before, which is to say it's pretty good for the price. I got this headset on sale for $40, which was the same price I had gotten the regular HS60 for 2 years ago around the holidays as well. I would recommend this headset, especially if you find it at a similar price point as I did.

This is a quality headset for the price. I bought this for work meetings and the mic and earpiece works well. I’m on calls a lot and it’s comfortable enough to wear for a couple hours straight. I would suggest taking it off once in a while to give your ears a chance to breathe.

Very comfortable padding on head & ears. Sound is great, clear, crisp. Microphone has, I think you'd call it, voice leveling, which allows you to yell or scream without blowing-out the other person's eardrums. Another nice feature is, you can choose to remove mic from headset. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

There's one thing I don't like--everything else is great. I got these to use w/ my iPhone to listen to podcasts or telephone family long-distance while on walks. They fit great, are easy to use, and everything sounds great on my end. The only problem is that I occasionally get some interference that's unpleasant for the listener on the other end. On my end it sounds like small clicks, but for the listener it's a call ender. It only happens sometimes, so is probably interference from other equipment in my neighborhood. Other than that, I've been very happy with the quality, function, comfort and price. Hope we can figure out what they're fighting with.

4 Stars, why only 4? Well here is my lack of the 5th star. Yes these headphones are awesome. Great sound and comfort. Not to mention the build quality and comfort(I have a big head so finding a set that doesn't squish my skull is hard to come by). Here is why I didn't give it 5 stars. When hooking up to a phone(music application) there is static. But hooking up to my pc it's wonderful. Also the only way to use the 7.1 surround sound is by using the included adaptor and using ICue software. So if you buy these expecting 7.1 surround sound out of the box, you are mistaken. But since I'm a pc gamer I am pleased with this product and I would buy them again.

It has taken me some time to review this item as I wanted to try it out effectively before doing so. I am a novice when it comes to headsets, and wasn't looking for anything over $100.00 because I only would use it when playing multiplayer games (Call of Duty, Apex Legends, etc.) I did some quick Google research and this one was on a list alongside the likes of Turtlebeach and Razor. I read all the reviews and decided to give this one a shot, and I must say I am impressed. These headphones are coreded, and the cord is rather long, i personally like that. This comes with a USB dongle that can be used only on computer to get "better sound" but I feel it is unnecessary for PS4 and found myself being "blown away" by the sound with Call of Duty. They do a good job of isolating yourself from the world around you. With some adjustments to the sound effects, mic volume, etc I found the right balance for me Even without adjustments you can certainly hear people moving around you in game and that makes it easy to know when people are coming toward you. One thing I liked about these headphones also is the fact that the microphone can be removed and you can use them as headphones on other devices (though the plug cover is completely detached so be sure you put it somewhere you won't lose it while the mic is in!.) The ear coverings are a "memory foam" type material and at no point in playing have my ears become sweaty or overheated. The band itself was initially a bit stiff and uncomfortable, I found myself moving it around a lot trying to find the perfect fit (both the band forward, backwards, up, down, and every way possible) but this only lasted a few minutes before I found the right settings for my head size, now I am pretty comfortable when I wear it and don't often have to adjust. One reason I got this pair was because I wear glasses and I read that this pair has enough room to comfortably wear them. This statement is true, however, if you often mess with you glasses while playing it can be a bit rough, it will just be something you will work on (get glasses comfortable and clean before playing or just remove the cups and adjust glasses as needed.) Overall, these headphones are comfortable with my glasses. As I said, I am a novice and can't speak to how much worse or better they are compared to other brands, but as far as I'm concerned these headphones are comfortable , the sound is great ( even for hearing enemies coming near you) , and they can be used as regular headphones if you like. For under $100.00, I recommend them, give them a try.

Before I was using some Bluetooth headphones to game online but as soon as I tried these headphones I was blown away by how much of a difference these headphones made. I mostly play modern warfare and I can hear people’s footsteps and you can feel the gunshots in the game. I would recommend these headphones to anyone getting more into competitive gaming or even just casual. I even used them occasionally to watch movies and they sound really good. As far as comfort, they’re not too tight on the head, the ear cups are soft and provided a sturdy feeling. Only complaint I have is that it gets hot around your ears, but just by removing the headphones every hour or so solves this issue for me. Again highly recommended for entry level to moderate competitive gaming

So, I purchased these primarily to use for teleworking, but they work well with the Discord app for voice chat and the surround feature is better than I expected at this price point. I got them on sale at like $46, which I felt was a steal. For work I use them for teleconferencing via Microsoft Teams, IBM Webex, etc. I can also use them on my cell-phone as a headset (I have a pretty pared down version of Android OS that works great with these) and the clarity is outstanding, other people comment in conference calls how clear my voice sounds when I use it. They're comfortable to wear for an 8+ hour day for work. I have been contemplating purchasing a second pair to keep in my office at work since we're starting to come back into the office regularly. I don't do a lot of online PC gaming anymore, like I used to, but I do use these for Discord, for running tabletop simulator and Roll20 and they work great for simultaneously handling voice and music.

I'm not an audiophile. I just wanted a comfortable good set of over the ear headphones. The part that I hate the most about headphones is how it starts to hurt after a certain amount of time of wearing it. I don't have that issue with this pair of headphones. Very comfortable and light and the sound is quite decent too. This is actually the second pair I purchased because I liked the first one so much.

Corsair HS60 Pro Surround headset. Rough install.

Product audio is excellent. Product installation was crap. Wired headphone has two connectors, 3.5mm and USB-A Surround. To use the USB-A surround sound option requires a software download. The user manual did not state that, the USB-A MUST NOT be connected to the computer before the iCUE software has been installed, otherwise, the windows 10 USB drivers take control of the headset. The problem is the Win 10 USB drivers do not correctly identify the headset and microphone. The Win 10 drivers will not allow the headset mic to connect to any software. It took me several hours and a Windows system restore to get this headset to work. Corsair's 24hr/7day tech support was very helpful to a point. Tech assisted with verifying all settings. Recommended a removal/reinstall of the iCUE software, but all of these things failed to solve the problem. I did a system restore to return all settings, software to a moment before I even plugged in the headset using either connection. After installing the iCUE software for a third time, I then plugged-in the headset using the USB-A connector. The iCUE software successfully recognized the device. Total time involved was 4-6 hrs to get a headset to work.

This is a bit above your basic headset. Value above quality on this one. It has a nice, solid build and feels sturdy all around. It fits comfortably and the volume options are easy to access, but out of the way as not to bump it while gaming. The sound quality is seriously lacking. No 5.1 surround, no bass boost, bad dynamics at low volumes. I recommend shelling out the extra money for a better headset if you plan to use this frequently or for music.

This does have 7.1 sound, bass boost, you would just install iCue on a compatible system.

So, I needed a new headset cause my other headset was falling apart like lego bricks, and I was doing some research for new headsets on Best Buy and came across this. After I saw the headset I did some research on it and after a couple of minutes I decided to buy it. My first impressions on the headset was that it was tight on my head at first but after an hour or so it started to adjust onto my head and it feels comfortable. Mic quality is... ehhh, it’s not the best but you can’t really expect a lot from a $70 headset. The sounds on the headset is great and definitely worth the price. With that being said, I’d give this headset a 9/10 and I definitely recommend buying it for the sound quality and not the mic quality.
