Good for watching streaming content, but not for music lowers. Headphones has very tight fit. As the sound intensity increases, the difference between the left and right earbuds is felt. The sound quality from the microphone is good.

Using iCue software to enable surround sound didn't seem to make much of a difference. When used with Discord I was told my mic volume was too low even though the gain for the mic was turned up all the way in Discord settings and Windows control panel.

No 7.1 for Windows OS builds beyond 1903

Unfortunately, as time passed and Windows updated, the functionality of this headset was completely obliterated. I can still use these on consoles like the Switch and PS4, but 7.1 is only supported on PC via the USB dongle and iCue software. Despite multiple updates of the iCue software though, a fix hasn't come about. I don't know if this is an issue on other operating systems, but on my Windows PC this headset is completely impotent. Buyer beware
