I bought these because I used to own an older version and couldn't find it for sale anywhere. I was hoping to get something basically identical. The only good I have to say about these is they are plug-and-play. The headphones themselves are crappy. The right ear whistles whenever the foam pad is compressed, as air is rushing in and out of the foam. The left ear pops when compressed, as if something inside it is moving around. There's a constant low clicking noise, and I can't tell if it's the audio itself, or if it's the plasticy covering on the pads constantly making noise. Whenever a source of audio is opened or closed (e.g., opening up a web browser, a video game, etc.) there's an audible pop, like you'd hear if you were unplugging or plugging in the headphones. The padding on the band is thin and tough; it actually makes the headphones more uncomfortable. The plastic covering on the foam ear pads is also just tucked into the sides of the headphones; it doesn't appear to actually be held in by anything. I haven't tried pulling it out because I don't really want to destroy my headphones, but I can feel it slipping around whenever I take them off or put them on. The clicking noise is really the worst. Imagine someone has a small piece of plastic, like from a bag, and is just constantly playing with it right next to your ear. That's what this sounds like. It's not very loud, but it's constant and irritating.

Great headphones for gaming. Very easy to connect.

I had a lot of interference in the sound. I had to disassemble it and found a bad welding. After rewelding the connection it has been working great.

Bought this beautiful headset. Feels amazing, sounds great but the mic is trash. Unuseable trash. So, these are trash. Corsair is a garbage company with garbage products. I did some heavy research into why these suck so much. Come to find out, its just a horrible product with terrible drivers and corsair doesnt care. DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU WANT TO USE THEM WITH A MIC ON A COMPUTER

Good quality, sounds... but it was for my 13 yo son, and it keep rubbing on his head, making him lose hair... like "bald"... had to return it....

It’s really nice but my USB adapter started dying weeks after and now I have to get it replaced but it stopped having issues for a bit.

This is a good headset for the price. Only issue is the durability. This could be because of my son or the product. Not really sure.

If you have a larger than average size head, these will pinch the sides of your head pretty significantly. The plastic used in the headband is pretty rigid and doesn't leave much room for stretching. The sound of the 50mm drivers is pretty average with a bass-heavy sound profile. For the price, these are very average and I would wait for a sale. I would NOT recommend these for anyone with a larger size head.

Honest to god garbage. Thought this would be quite the upgrade compared to my $40 headset that I had gotten at my local GameStop years ago and could not have been more wrong. At first everything was fine but load up any video game and its completely unusable. It sounds like you're completely underwater and all the sounds are messed up. I tried every different preset, spatial sound, surround sound, stereo, and everything else you could think of. And even after an hour or so fine tuning the EQ sliders comparing it to my old headset, it still sounds like trash compared to the old headset. The microphone is also of very low quality. I'm honestly gonna return this product and buy something else and I never see myself buying a Corsair headset again.

Product worked great... for three months until my microphone suddenly stopped working completely for absolutely no reason.

I've had this for about 4 months and I started hearing a buzzing sound at certain angles. I'm guessing the cable got damaged over normal use

These are ok. They didn’t hold up too too long but the kids aren’t the most gentle. If you take care of them, they will last.

Bought the headset for my Xbox One and it was terrible. My friends told me I sounded terrible and that my $20 headset sounded better. The volume on my game was super quiet even when I had everything turned up all the way. And my party chat was crazy loud. I needed to hear the game not the people. Terrible idea and I wasted my money.

Sound quality was good, however I returned for a wireless option

You might need to adjust the sound with the iCue software as the sound is not that great out of the box in my opinion.

Bought for my son to play Fortnite. After 4 moths they are falling apart. I would expect them to be a bit more robust.

The headset has great build quality but the software required (Corsair iCUE) doesn't detect the headset on the latest version of Windows, rendering the microphone and 7.1 surround sound features to be inoperable. Returning this and reverting to my 4-year-old Logitech until I can get a headset that actually works.

Sound quality is subpar to what I use on my console. It's adequate for gaming however not ideal.
