    Good sound quality, bad build quality.

    So to start off I bought this in-store so it won't say that I have bought them but my experience with them was amazing, but after about just a year of having them the whole ear cuff ring thing on the right is falling apart. Another issue I have is that when wearing it for long periods of time my head gets really itchy and my ears start to hurt if I take them off although the ear issue might be my fault for wearing them wrong. I would not recommend unless you want to buy a new pair every few months to a year.

    Too painful to use any longer

    The sound in this headset is good, and I've had no complaints from my students about my sound quality on their end, so I assume the mic works well, too. But after weeks of wearing this headset for hours a day, my head hurts. Classes have been over for two weeks, and the top of my head is still sensitive to the point that I'm giving up on this headset and won't be able to use it any longer. My family bought three sets of these headsets and I'm the only one with this issue, so your experience may be better.

    Poor audio

    I got this headset on sale after my Logitech g430 gave out. Was very much looking forward to this headset, it was my first Corsair audio device, and unfortunately it's looking like it may be my last as well. I was aware that the mic was sub-par before I purchased it so that didn't come as a surprise, but what actually let me down was the audio quality. I don't know if the headset I received is faulty, if it's because of the adapter, or if it's just a software issue that I couldn't figure out. The audio is terrible and sounds very muffled, when gaming I cannot tell from what direction audio is coming from. It's a shame, because I like the design of these, they look nice and are very comfortable, and the earcups do a better job at shutting out outside audio than the g430 did. The iCue software wasn't any help in this case, so me listing quality, value and ease of use as anything other than poor is just a lie. I'll be returning this headset.

    Headset sounds great, but the mic fails to deliver

    The actual headset works fine but the mic is horrendous. Avoid if you are at all picky about the quality and clarity of your microphone.

    Can’t hear your self talk

    The sound was good but I have to give it 1 star because it cups the ears and I can’t hear my self talk while in discord and they made my ears hurt. I play games where volume is very important, I need to hear someone moving around or sneaking up on me.

    Falling apart!

    Sound is great, but the padding started falling off in less than a year. I've had $10 headphones with better quality than that.

    Poor quality product.

    I've had to replace this headset once due to an incredibly bad microphone leakage issue. The ICUE software did not show microphone setting options for the headset with both replacements. With the replacement, the ear pads came off only after a month, the leakage issue, though heavily dampened was still occuring, and the mic volume and sidetone settings still did not show up in the software.

    WORST HEADSET IVE OWNED

    Had this headset for less than 6 months and it has been completely awful the mic sucks picks up background noise constantly running into problems with microphone not working and on top that the leather ear peace just came off very uncomfortable headset I wouldn’t waste your money on this headset!

    I bought this because it seemed great to use for a new job I was starting, but something happened yesterday and now none of the people I call can hear me. I’ve only had it for a few months. It may be good for gaming occasionally, I wouldn’t know i don’t use it for gaming, but You DO NOT WANT this for using for work.

    Opened box to find all accessories (mic USB adapter boom cover) missing from the pouch it should’ve been in and decided to return and find another headset. Couldn’t test actual product so use this as a reminder to check the box.

    I bought this product around 1 year ago and just wanted to drop by to say that the top of it feels like a rock. Its too small and doesn't extend out further and after a year of use I can physically feel my head.

    microphone stopped working

    Unfortunately the microphone stopped working in less than 6 months with only part time use. I am in the process of requesting a replacement from Corsair as the warranty is 2 years.

    Stopped working after 2(TWO) MONTHS :(

    I actually enjoyed this headset alot, I used it for work and my Xbox..... after literally a month and a half using them there is no more sound coming out the left side. Extremely disappointed

    Trash headset

    Lasted a month. When I plug it in, it says that it malfunctioned, so it’s not even usable. Garbage. Would not recommend.
