    Its good for hearing but the mic it self is pretty bad. The mic can barely pick up sound

    I purchased this for my 10 yr old to use on an Xbox system. It was great at first. Unfortunately, the microphone stopped working after 2 months and it can't be returned to Best Buy. One day, it was plugged in and just didn't work. I am not sure whether there was a manufacturer warranty. I expected it to last longer.

    If you are looking for something quick and relatively affordable, these would be an OK choice, but I wouldn't recommend them. They have almost no low end and sound very tinny. If you crank the volume up, they begin to distort which is unfortunate for headsets that are large and wired.

    Decent sound in gaming or videos, poor for music. The main reason I give it 1 star is because the audio jack is not proper size when I plug it in my tablet or Xbox controller which makes the microphone to lose connection or the sound, this is unusual bad quality from Corsair as I have keyboards and mouse that work perfect. I opened the box 2 weeks after I bought it as I thought I have 3 months for return, but Best Buy changed policy and now its 15 days for all items, now I can't return or exchange and if I send them to Corsair for warranty I have to pay $5-$10 shipping for a jack that cost $1.

    Microphone breaks easy

    I got this fir my son. The microphone broke within a week. We changed it out for ththe same one and once again. It broke fast. We will be changing di a different brand this time.

    This is not suitable for PS4. The sound was very very low to hear with both 3.5 mm and USB. It might be fine with PC maybe because of the software because not recommendable for PS4.

    Okay, let me start by saying a couple of things: Marketing is everything, even within Corsair as a company, its not out of the realm of possibility that they are constantly trying to up-sell you...especially if they already have you hooked on their products (nothing wrong with that). So, with that being said let me dive into the review. These headphones feature 50mm drivers, and I'm going to go out on a limb and say they are probably the same exact 50mm drivers that are featured across the entire lineup of corsair headsets (smart business to buy in bulk and use the same components as much as you can)...that being said the only thing that more than likely differentiates these headphones from the entire line of Void headsets boils down to 2 things: RGB and Wireless...if those are game changers for you, buy the Void series because Dolby surround can be had with these through an included 3.5mm to USB adapter. The fitment feels better to me, they feel lighter and the lock in feels more along my style but that purely preference, that being said, I have a recording studio and I've used headphones that range in the hundreds of dollars and they feel just as premium as those fit and finish wise. They tend to get a little hot as the ear cups are made of a pleather type material which isnt that great for airflow...not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind, i like it because it reminds me to take breaks every once and a while. With the Corsair CUE software and the 7.1 enabled I literally cant tell the difference in sound quality between the Void series and these headphones. My suggestion? Buy these headphones and with the money saved purchase the Corsair RGB headphone stand so that you can get the best of both world, RGB, a usb 3.0 hub, and since the stand has a soundcard built in you can just run these headphones straight into the stand via 3.5mm jack and from the stand to your computer via usb...you'll be much happier that way I think. microphone quality is good enough and its removable which is something that you can't get with the void series so that alone for me was a game changer and you don't have to deal with wireless delay which can be a problem if you play ultra competitively. Your choice at the end of the day but I definitely think that buying these plus the corsair st100 for basically the game amount if you'd paid if you bought just the Void RGB wireless set is definitely the way to go.

    Got this headset for the boys for Christmas. It worked fine up until about two weeks ago. There is a ton of static that can be heard from the headset. And nothing can be heard coming from the headset. I didn’t get the Best Buy warranty. Not sure what kind of warranty The manufacturer has on this or how to get it fixed or replaced. Lesson learned. Get a higher quality product and get the warranty from Best Buy for the extra $10

    Absolutely junk. This is my second set of Corsair headsets. The first was the HS-50 and lasted about 3weeks and the mic stopped working. Corsair customer service is a joke so I returned them. Purchase the HS-60 for some stupid reason. Same think 4 weeks later the mic stopped working. Do a Google search. Its a known problem. Unfortunately Best Buy warranty is only 15 days so I an out of luck. Stay far way from these piece of junks

    And then it died, well, not the entire system but the mic died and it seems to happen a lot with this model. Could not get it to work again and had to return it to Best Buy. On the plus side, the staff at the store was great and the return was hassle free.
