The sound quality is great for the price. The headset is comfortable, earcups are a good size. Battery life is respectable, and most importantly, volume is more than adequate. This is an improvement on the Logitech G435 in every way. Knocked off one star because it is still using a USB micro instead of USB C for charging.

Wireless headset that lasts a long time between charges for gaming and listening to music or watching movies. The sound is phenomenal. What I love about this headset is that there is hardly any pressure on the ears and no outside noise once you have them on. Comfortable at times that I can't feel them on my head. The microphone is great(you can unplug the microphone from headset if not using or just bend out of the way) The only downside to this headset is the distance you can walk away from says 40 feet, but I can barely make it 20 feet when the headset stops working(could be the old house I live in with a lot of walls); can't hear sounds or talk into microphone past 20 feet. Did not have to install any software, it is all plug and play. I would still recommend this headset, because I hardly take my headset out of my room where the devices are in.

Pretty good sound and feel. Love the detachable mic and decent battery life. Feels good to wear but earpieces move side to side and broke off in the first month, so wished it had better built quality. Also need a computer to toggle with the Dolby sound for better choices, meh.

Long and Short I LOVE THESE on my PS5. Pros: Great sound Super comfortable Aesthetically pleasing Very Well built Adjustable EQ (you need to set this, not so great sound out of the box) Dial volume on ear Cons: The software Not as detailed sound as the Steel Series Pro wired (no DAC) Dose switch sound on PS5 when headphones are turned off No 3.5mm jack No chat mix dial (I dont care about this but some might) Now this has quite an adventure for me. I got a PS5 and my OG PS gold head set was falling apart. I tried Black Shark V2 wireless, Steel Series Pro wired (w/o DAC), Pulse 3d and these. These where much cheaper then the SS and BS v2. I got them on sale so they where cheaper then the pulse 3d. Now, the pulse 3d do work better on the ps5 BUT, they sound no where as good as the HS70. Not to mention the HS70 are WAY more comfortable and look MUCH better. Now, right out of the box the sound is meh, at best. After playing with the EQ on them, they are just about perfect. The icue software is not as intuitive and user friendly as SS or Razer. The SS pro wired had amazing detail but lacked in the lower end. The HS70 doesn't quite reach the detail of the SS pro but, man its close. Again, for much cheaper and no wires. The HS70 are beautiful and refined in looks, It does not feel cheaply made. The ear cups are very comfortable. Breathability can become an issue after 2-3 hours but its not huge. I wear a M/L fitted cap and I found the clamping force just about perfect. I can't say enough about these headphones for the price. Are they going to be as detailed in sound as SS pro wireless, or A50s? Probably not. But you will be hard pressed to find anything in this price range to beat it Now, it doesn't auto disconnect from the ps5 when turned off. You go to the game switch menu, to sound, and change it via the controller. Takes all of 5 secs, so it doesn't bother me. No 3.5mm jack but, I've played all day with these and no battery issues. I can not speak to the Mic as I don't really play chat based games. From other reviews, I guess its not bad. I hope this helped some people.

Best Audio For The Price (If You're On PC)

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Pros: -Excellent audio quality and build quality -Has surround sound that seems to actually work, unlike most that claim the same -Wireless -Very comfortable, great for long sessions -EQ software (if you have PC, more on that in a bit) -PS4 compatible Cons: -Detachable mic has less than stellar audio quality -Volume wheel is very easy to move. If you're resting your head while wearing these and shift your head, you will likely move the wheel -Noticeably heavier than most headsets I've worn, though not uncomfortably so -Corsair iCUE software is required if you want to use surround sound and EQ, as well as updating firmware, which you may need to do before using on PS4. -Surround sound not available on PS4 -No easy way to tell how much battery life is left, unless you go into the iCUE software. I know I listed more cons than pros, but the pros far outweigh the cons in my opinion. However, I do own both PC and PS4 and can say this headset is excellent for both, if you own both. If you only have a PS4 and are looking for a good wireless headset, you should probably look elsewhere, as you will not be getting the full bang for buck. I was previously using a Steelseries Arctis 5 w/ GameDAC. It was doing the job, but once I got into VR I knew I needed a good wireless headset. I tried the Playstation Gold, and while the wireless was nice, the mic was garbage and the headset was uncomfortable for play sessions longer than 1 or 2 hours. After several days of research, I decided to give the Corsair HS70 Pro a go. And I couldn't be happier that I did. The audio difference between my Arctis 5 and this headset is night and day. Using Warzone as an example, I could hear actually hear footsteps and finer details in the game for once. Not to say the Arctis was a bad headset, I'm not an audiophile. But even I can tell the difference in audio quality. But alos keep in mind, I'm talking about surround sound on PC. On PS4, you are locked to stereo. While the audio quality is still great, once you get a taste of surround sound, it's difficult to go back to stereo. The headset is stupidly comfortable (to me at least, it is a noticeably heavier headset than most, and I know that can be a deal breaker for some). The padding is soft and plush with what I assume is pleather, but not so plush that they completely press down under the weight of the earcups. There is plenty of space inside for my ears, and my ears never touch the speakers inside. The headband also has a plush cushion that helps keep the weight off of my ears, which is why the weight doesn't bother me. I have worn these for 4+ hours and not overheated or felt too much pressure on my head, an issue I have had with every other headset I've used in the past. One thing my Arctis does hold over the HS70 though is the mic. The quality on the HS70 is passable, it's not terrible but it's not great either. When I first hopped on with the squad in Warzone they noticed right away that the mic sounded worse than the Arctis. So keep that in mind if mic quality is a potential deal breaker for you. As outside of Warzone I usually only play solo in online play, this wasn't a deal breaker for me. And for the biggest con, that I honestly found the most annoying, is the volume wheel. I'll just be 100% honest, it's garbage. I've been sitting back relaxing and not realize the wheel is resting on the back of my chair's headrest, slightly shift my head, and been in situations where I either suddenly lose all my audio or unexpectedly destroy my eardrums with the sudden blast. It sucks, but I can forgive it for the stellar audio quality. But I also understand that this can be a huge deal breaker. Potential buyers, you have been warned. For VR users out there looking for a wireless headset to use, this segment is for you. I use an Oculus Rift S for context. After fiddling and adjusting, the headset fits perfectly. On my Rift S, the halo band pushes the cups just slightly off my ears. Not enough for them to just be hovering above my ears, just enough for them to be making contact. So your audio seal will not be perfect, but I found this to be slightly more comfortable, as it also lets your ears breathe a bit better. I'm happy with this headset for my Rift S, but as most VR users will know, your mileage will vary. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with the Corsair HS70. I know I've basically written an entire essay about it, but I feel it's important to inform people as best as possible. The gripes I have with it can be big issues for others, but I can live with them. They've elevated my games to a new level for me and am looking forward to using them for years to come. Though that will come with the test of time, which is a whole other can of worms.

Pros: 1. You CAN charge your headset while using it fully. 2. The headband cushion is incredibly soft. 3. The sound is good. Much better than $40 headphones, but nowhere near as good as $120+ headphones. 4. Mic is super flexible, sensitive, clarity is superb, detachable. 5. iCue software (free download) is good for EQs 6. Charge time is at least a few dozen hours. 7. Metal Ear cup holders! Plastic will always break. 8. Over-ear cups help block ALL external noise 9. Not bass-heavy, but allows deep sounds (not a Pro for some) 10. Beautiful design, pristine, high-class look 11. Bluetooth reach is AMAZING! 12. They’re wireless. Cons 1. Headband is a little too tight around the temples 2. Volume rocker-wheel feels flimsy, but is decent. 3, Only 2 buttons on headset (power & mute) 4. Not bass-heavy (this can be a Pro!) 5. Not collapsible (not necessarily a Con) 6. Pricey All in all, they are sort of worth the price. If you are an Audiophile and are on a budget, then go for these over $80 JBL or $80 Skull Candy (surprisingly decent). They’re worth the few more dollars you’ll have to pay - the clarity is worth it. However, you will not get that beautiful, rich sound that you can easily get from $120 Bose headphones. If you’re an average gamer, then the construction of these will last you much longer than any plastic headset at the same, average price. The sound frequencies will clearly aid you, regardless of the game you play (FPS, RTS, MOBAs, Mobile gaming, MMORPGs).

My girls are homeschooled and needed a good headset for class. These seem to be noise cancelling. When my girls have them on, they cannot hear me talk to them. The sound quality is excellent. The removeable mic is convenient. The mic has a cover, that is actually loose and will fall of the mic. These fit around my girls' heads very well. Which is nice. My youngest has a very tiny head. It is difficult to find a headset that will accommodate her. My oldest has a slightly bigger head as she grows fast. These are adjustable to accommodate her as well. The teachers have not mentioned hearing any background noise. The cordless feature is life saving! The last headset my girls had, they destroyed the cords and bent the 3.5 jack part that plugs into the computer. These have an on off button to help preserve battery life. My girls use these constantly and the battery life has proven itself. We have gone two days on a full battery. That is with them forgetting to turn it off. There is a button to mute the mic. The only downfall, when you push the mute button, it does not tell you if it is muted or not. That one is a fun guessing game to see how many times your daughter pushed it. All these need now is a really good stand! I would buy these again. Waiting to see how long they last. The last pair we bought off amazon, different brand. They were wireless but did not last six months. So far, these are still going strong after a couple weeks.

I bought this for $79 on sale, after hours of comparison shopping with other brands. I primarily use this for work (online meetings), netflix, spotify and some gaming. This is my first wireless headset and I've only used wired earphones. After 3 weeks, I love using this because its comfortable and the sound quality is good, with good noise cancellation. Yet, I can still have it on and adjust the volume low enough to hear the doorbell ring. I did get some dropped connections to my laptop for about 5 mins, but probably due to my laptop. I would say its comfortable for 4-6 hrs, but beyond that, you'll start feeling some pressure around the ears, because its a snug fit (which might be a good thing). Its made of plastic and metal and feels semi-sturdy, so I hope this will last for at least 2 years.

This is a great mic headset I use it for work taking calls on my PC. It’s comfy to wear for my 8hr shift, but it could have used a bit more padding on the cup. The battery life is good on this too, I charge it daily because of work but I definitely think I could go 2 days without charging. Best of all no wires, no mess, and it looks nice.

Excellent quality and sound. The materials are super soft and durable. I’m doing this review a whole year after and I’m still happy with my product. It holds great charge. Sometimes I don’t charge it for weeks and still holds hoy te a of battery. The microphone is detachable but never had an issue. It’s fast Plug and Play on both my PC and PS5.

Great gaming headset it has it all, great sound, great mic quality, great build quality and it’s extremely comfortable so much so, that I often forget I am wearing it. Honestly, the only thing that is slightly negative about the headset is that it feels like the battery runs out quite quick (when I say quick I don’t mean 3-4 hours). It feels like the headset usually starts making low battery sounds at around 5-9 hours of usage. It isn’t the biggest issue in the world just a slight inconvenience having to charge it and use at the same time. All in all, this headset is all around great and for the price it’s a no brainer purchase.

These things are excellent. I have used them on both my PC and my PS4 and they have been nothing but a pleasure to use. They have amazing sound quality, work well with ICUE software. You do have to pay extra for a subscription service to manually adjust the EQ settings but the built-in ones honestly work fine. They have great sound quality for music, movies, and gaming. I wish they would have added an aux port so I could use them wired like other headsets have available but its in no way a deal breaker. The build quality is solid, they are comfortable for long sessions and the battery life and charge time are both great for the price. I bought these for sim racing because I was worried about damaging my expensive wired headset and now I use these more than my other headset. If you are thinking about getting this headset, do it!

Great sound quality, reliably connects, long battery life, easy to use. Works great with discord, zoom, overwatch, anything really that uses sound or mic. Really happy with this headset. Also works with my PS4. My only complaint is that the headset is very heavy so it weighs on my head and can get tiring after awhile. If the headset was lighter it would be perfect. Also note no real noise isolation on this mic. I don't mind this though as other headsets i've actually had issues with them picking up my voice, this headset never has trouble picking up my voice and i'm nice and loud.

I researched wireless gaming headsets and headphones for weeks and I ended up going with these for my PC. To keep it simple, here's what I was looking for and found in this set: 1.) These are quite comfortable over your ears and on your head. weight, pressure, and temperature is all good for me. 2.) EQ adjustment in the iCUE make these pretty much whatever you want them to be. I made presets for music, games, and movies. 50mm drivers can make a difference! 3.) The battery life is pretty decent and they've lasted me all day without turning them off. 4.) I use a Blue Yeti microphone, so I didn't need the mic, but it actually sounds decent as a backup. Being Able to remove the microphone is a huge must for me. You're simply not going to find a better wireless headset at this price. Any other company would charge you $150 for this build!

So, first off. Before you read this and take my word as gold, you need to understand where I am coming from first. Okay, these are great headphones. But for gaming, here are some things I will say about that. Then I will talk about these being used for other programs. Gaming: Great sound. The mic is great. The build is solid quality. Ear cushions are soft and over the ear. Meaning they cover my ears, not on them. Which translate to longer playtime without the ears hurting. The mic from what my boys are saying sound clear and good. Quality is super and is detachable. I do not need to detach it but should you feel the need you MUST NOT LOSE the rubber insert that goes into the mic area on the headset. There is only one and it is easy to lose. I like the look of the cream (faux) leather with the stitching. I was going to go with the black model but I have so many in black, so this was a nice change. The yokes are made from aluminum I believe and they seem really sturdy. Even though I do not beat up on my tech stuff, these seem like they will last me a long time. The wireless is good without having to go 40 feet away which is what this is rated for. Up to 16 hrs of battery life means if left on without playing. Playing time varies and depends on if you turn on surround sound 7.1 software that comes with the headset. Overall, good headset. So, now for some reasons why it's Good not great. I like that these work great for basic stuff too like YouTube, Webinars, and Zoom/Google Meet/and Go To Meeting work related stuff. The CUE interface software that comes with it for some reason, interferes with other software and with my Razer Synapse Software. Not, super noise cancelling but it never was suppose to be. There's no mic up mic down to switch mic on or off. There's only a button on the headset that allows for mic mute. I have had other headsets that are far superior but for also far more money. This Corsair Headset is a great deal which I got a discount at Best Buy on one of their deal days. But for a $100 and under headset, great buy. If I could, I'd give it 4.5 stars.

Good headphones hurt by a common issue

TLDR: These are good headphones with a flaw. There is a chance that when you buy these headphones they will have a minor buzzing issue. The good: I like these headphones. The audio quality is great but you should definitely apply an equalizer profile to them because they sound weird out of the box. I recommend using the Clear Chat preset in iCue. The battery lasts a pretty good amount of time and the microphone sound pretty decent. I like the look of the headphones and the build quality is pretty good (for now). The surround sound is definitely a plus but make sure you turn off surround sound when you listen to music or watch a video. The bad: Like I said in the tldr, there is a minor buzzing noise. You won't notice it when you're playing a video game or listening to music unless you're actively trying to listen for it. You'll still definitely be able to hear it when nothing is playing and it can be annoying. If you notice a buzzing noise, try switching where the usb receiver is plugged in or do a soft reset. The next issue is not that big of a deal to me but it might be to some. The headphones can feel toasty if you use it for an hour or two without taking it off. The ugly: I ended up getting a defective pair of headphones originally. They made an annoying popping noise in both speakers so I used the warranty to send them to Corsair and they gave me back a brand new one. It was an inconvenience but Corsair's support team is nice and helpful (but a little slow). Otherwise these are pretty good headphones. Maybe I got unlucky twice and you won't have any buzzing or popping noise. If you do notice it you should exchange the headphones quickly

I've owned both these and the void pro RGB. They both have great sound, but these fit better and don't try and fall off your head if you move around. You can also position the headband wherever you like as apposed to the void which can only be worn directly across the top of the head. The ear pads are better on the void because they are cloth and therefore don't get all sweaty after an hour, but cloth covers can be added to remedy that. It's was easier to mute the void by lifting the mic up, but it just takes a little getting used to to use the bottom on the HS70 pro. Battery life is great and the iCue software works great, especially if your keyboard and mouse are also Corsair products.
