I will credit Corsair support with getting me a replacement microphone in fairly short order but that doesn't mitigate that it was bad out of the box to begin with. As far as sound quality goes, they are OK. The headset is pretty heavy and doesn't "breathe"; gets very sweaty. I would not recommend this to someone in the market for a gaming headset.

The headphones are good but my USB dongle started rattling after a few months then stopped working all together. Probably best to leave this one on a single stationary device rather than switch it on and off multiple machines and it will last a longer time. If so then go ahead and get it.

If it still continues I will return it. It’s taking me long to evaluating because I’m an occasional user. Also there’s no real adjustment to fit on your head, you need to have a real fat head, unless you do have a fat head don’t buy it.
