This has been a great cooler so far, it's just not much different than any other AIO liquid coolers out there. The RGB lighting on the block is much more customizable than the older RGB Corsair AIO coolers, but it would have been nice if it came with some LL series RGB fans instead of the stock HDP fans. I got the cooler new and sealed, but some of the radiator fins were already damaged upon taking it out of the box. I had to straighten them myself. If I hadn't been in the spot of already having to run out and get this last minute because the older Corsair AIO cooler I had intended to use wan't interfacing with my motherboard, I would have tried returning it for a new one.

This was the first CPU liquid cooler I've purchased; but, overall, I'm thrilled with the unit. As a general rule, I don't tend to overclock because of the general use of my PC and laptop isn't centered around serious gaming. That may change with my newly acquired (albeit a bit older) Intel I7 cpu. I had to work a bit with my case to ensure it was in the most beneficial portion (right up front).

I have this installed on a Ryzen 7 2700x. I had a smaller 120mm AIO cooling it before. This 280mm unit keeps my temps 12-15c cooler under load AND my cpu clocks itself about 100-125MHz higher as well. This cooler unlocked some extra performance from my cpu without me having to do any manual over clocking.

This CPU cooling package has everything you need to convert from an air cooled setup for your CPU (both Intel and AMD). It's extremely quiet since it uses magnetic levitation cooling fans on the radiator for reduce friction and noise. It also has a newer version of the original Corsair pump for quieter operation. My only complaint is that the hoses are somewhat short and since this is a sealed closed loop cooling system they cannot be changed. Check your requirements if you have a custom or very large case. Note this is not designed for cooling anything other than your processor (not for video card, memory etc...)

I've used 2 other Corsair hydro series coolers in the past and have had no issues with them. So the bar was set high, but so far after 2 weeks this cooler is delivering. Cool CPU temps aside, overall system temps are down all around thanks to the massive 280mm worth of airflow circulation. And the RGB function is pretty awesome. Recommended if youre a PC enthusiast.
