My CPU is the AMD Threadripper. Bought this as I bought the Corsair fans and ram sticks, hoping to link all my rgbs up via iCue but realised this doesn't totally cover my CPU so had to return it for something else.

One of the fans makes noise when set to high RPM. The other fan is fine, but now I wonder when it will fail just like the first fan,

Was having problems with my stock cooler on my ryzen 5, and decided to pick this one up. Fits perfectly in my midsized tower. Measure to make sure it fits. Bad reviews based on not measuring don't give this justice. Dropped about 20 degrees while idle, while gaming it dropped 20-30 degrees depending on the game. Average temp idle is 37 in case, ambient. Gaming never goes above 53, average gaming is 47 and it's overclocked to 4ghz. (Might be different for your situation, it's also on the paste it came with). It's not loud IMO. I have 7 fans, and it's rarely loud. Rgb I could care less about but icue software works fine for adjusting color and performance. I'm sure there are cheaper products, but I was in a pinch and was local. I'd say worth a buy. Install was annoying but was easy and straightforward. Hope this helps.

I purchased this to get rid of my stock heat sink and fan I had on my Ryzen 5 2600. Before installing the new cooler I was running temps around 50 degrees C. After installation I run temps at around 30 degrees C at idle and around 45 under load. When overclocking my CPU to 4 GHZ I was able to break 50 degrees C under load and still remained in the high 30's at idle. Great cooler and the RGB is very easy to customize with Corsair iCue.

Got motivated to build me a new system intel based. my orders from newegg came in fine. Only thing my i-7 didnt come with was a Fan an heatsink. Instead of waiting for another week for one part. I decided to go to bestbuy to pick this up. Since my new case was designed with liquid cooling in mind. I said what the heck. Went in smooth no issues it mounted up in a designated spot on my case. Ran some extensive Benchmarks to see how well it would handle. Kept my CPU between 35 to 42C with no issues. As of now I dont see an issue and I checked the cords an connections to make sure it didnt leak before I installed it. Pretty well built. Only time will tell how well it will hold. After installed played about 7hrs of Doom on ultra settings no problem it stayed at a cool temp the whole time.

    Good cooling capacity for i7-8086K/8700K

This is used to cool a delidded 8086K while overclocked at 5GHz. Was able to keep CPU below 82C running AVX on all cores with Prime95. Otherwise, average temperatures are around the mid 60's while running normal apps and games. Relatively quiet with the included fans at full speed.

Overall a great cooler but after 3 years it died (pump went out), since these use Asetek pumps I assume this was a fluke but still disappointing. I started an RMA with Corsair 2 days ago but no word back yet. Will update once I find out how good their warranty is.
