    Solid performer.

OK, I'll admit it, I am hard on mouses. My spot for gaming is a tiny desk, and mouse droppings about 30 inches to a hardwood floor are common. This mouse is replacing a Corsair Harpoon wireless that I dropped enough times some of the buttons were unreliable. I was going to replace it with the same model, but this one was on sale for the same price. So far, and I've only had it a couple of weeks, I like it. Love it - no. The tactile leaning curve is taking this old brain a while to learn. I worry that the protruding buttons might be a weakness when it comes to drops. This mouse has 3 switchable DPI settings, the Harpoon had 5, and I do miss the additional settings. iCue integration seems a bit more cumbersome. USB wireless dongle is rock solid, And you CAN recharge it while using it wirelessly. It uses microUSB, not the hard to find Harpoon cable. So far it's a solid performer, time will tell.

    LOTS of defects!

Initially I purchased from a Best Buy store. My mouse seemed cool, but was a bit complex to set up. Instructions weren't great, but I got through it. Once I was set up, I loved the mouse! ...for a while... It took about 2 weeks to start having issues. Profiles in the software automatically reset and changed. Similarly, profiles on the mouse would go corrupt and simply stop working. Multiple software updates were necessary, only to have the icue software eventually crash on me and stop working at all. At which point, in order to use the mouse, I had to completely reinstall iCue... twice so far. ouch. What's worse is that after about a month, my mouse wheel started catching and got stuck. interestingly, this issue resolved itself mostly - though it does still catch at times. now, after just about 3 months of use, my mouse has 2 dead buttons on the left panel (which is removable). IN OTHER WORDS, this mouse is a WONDERFUL idea. The features are great, the sensitivity is awesome, and the performance in game is astonishing. But the number of issues I have had is unacceptable. After only 3 months, an $80 mouse is so bugged that I really want to return it ... except I can't, because the return policy doesn't allow for it. I wanted everyone to be aware of what they might expect. BAD PRODUCT CORSAIR!!!

So far, I am loving this mouse! This is my first Wireless mouse and it took me only 5 minutes to set up and get working. For $75, this mouse is a great fit for my hand AND it is wireless. 10/10 from me.

Exactly what I was looking for

Large hands with a finger tip grip. Thumb rests near the "forward" button, making the "back" button easy to get to. Too many other mice have this set up the other way. Tried the 502 Hero, Rival 600, and Deathadder. I like a taller mouse and this is it. Wheel rolls smoothly but not freely. The software took a second to get used to, but now I love it. Works wired or wireless (dongle or Bluetooth).

    Buggy but responsive and comfortable.

Programming the lighting and remapping the buttons constantly fails. The 'forward', 'backward', and 'option' buttons feel cheap and surprisingly squishy. Profiles randomly reset back to default and I'm getting a bug where the Dpi up button and the 'forward' button register constant input. When that happens the only thing to do is unplug the mouse and hope it resets when I plug it back in. Besides the bugs this mouse feels incredible to hold and is one of the most responsive I have ever used. I can't recommend only because there are so many better options out there.

We are happy with the Corsair Ironclaw RGB Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse. It is a reasonable price and very good quality. Easy to use, and it is great that you can program up to 10 different things. The salesman was extremely helpful and we appreciate him recommending the best wireless gaming mouse for our needs.

    Feels like a massive downgrade

After using this mouse for around a year now I can confidently say that I'm disappointed in it. This mouse feels like it gets worse over time. The physically quality just feels like a big piece of plastic with some weight in it. Comparing this to the last mouse I owned, the Corsair Darkcore, this feels like a massive downgrade. I expected a lot more from Corsair and the price just doesn't make this feel like a premium product. Pros: Mouse is big RGB customization is amazing, plenty of options with some crazy sync effects Wireless Cons: Mouse is big Software is awful Battery is small Click response time is really really bad

Mouse will double click by itself.

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Had this mouse for maybe 2 weeks and it will automatically double click by itself. If you're playing a shooter or just doing daily tasks it will get extremely annoying. Other than that this mouse is great and I really thought Corsair made nice products, but this is ridiculous. The ICUE software for the mouse is terrible as well, it's good for RGB, but not mouse software. I plan on getting my warranty hopefully, but if my second mouse does this, I'm never buying a Corsair peripheral again.

This mouse is smooth and comfortable to the hand. Great for any game if you want simple. Unfortunate side about the mouse is it’s durability and how easily some of the components loosen or come off their track. Taking the mouse apart to clean or fix is a a chore.
