I love this keyboard its so slim and the keys feel great

This keyboard is amazing. I wasn’t really sure if I would like the low profile setup, but I’m finding it very responsive, more comfortable than I expected, and packed with fun features and customization options. Connecting it to my MacBook pro was pretty easy. I plugged it in using the USB cable and my laptop found it. I then downloaded the iCue software from the Corsair site and it found the keyboard right away. The software immediately prompted me to update the firmware in the keyboard. I had to play around with the software a bit to get a feel for it, but it’s pretty intuitive if you are used to higher end mice and keyboards that have a lot of customization and lighting effects options. I didn’t have any trouble understanding how it delt with lighting layers. It allows you add multiple layers to a single lighting profile. Basically, you can make your WASD keys run a different effect from the rest of your keyboard for example. It’s pretty sweet. Some of the lighting effects are really cool. You can set it up so that the colors radiate out from each key as you press them. I really like all of the little extra on the keyboard. For instance, it has a volume scroll wheel build right into the keyboard. You can easily control system volume/mute without have to fumble around with a mouse. It also has 4 customizable macro keys that you can pretty much make do whatever you like. Those are going to come in really handy for gaming. I also like that it has a battery level indicator that you can turn on/off as well as a connection light to let you know if the wireless is working correctly. It's a very complete keyboard. Feature rich and realtively easy to configure. Those same macro buttons I mentioned also serve as the function key toggle between connectivity options as well as 3 different devices. I really like that this will connect via USB, wireless (using the included dongle) and BT. I’m currently using it via BT. It allows you to save a couple of lighting profiles directly to the keyboard. This is very cool because it allows you to switch profiles without needing to have the iCUE software running. The look and feel is amazing. It’s sleek and stylish. The brushed aluminum case just feels good in your hands. The keys have a really nice height to them. I expected them to be super flat to the case, but they have plenty of travel and feel like a normal profile keyboard under your fingers. The switches are very responsive and I like the tactile feedback that I get when typing. There are a few minor things that are holding me back from giving it 5 stars. First off, it is loud. I decided to take it to work just to be able to spend a solid day working with it. While typing up a DM, one of my staff members yelled at me from the other room because my keyboard was so loud. The noise doesn’t bother me, I kind of think it sounds cool, but just know that you aren’t going to win any stealth awards with this thing. Next, the front corners of the aluminum case are actually kind of sharp. While I don’t anticipate hurting myself or anyone else, it just seemed like something that could have been better. I was a little surprised to find that I can only control all of the customization setup features when connected either through the wireless dongle or via USB. The software doesn’t “see” the keyboard when connected via BT. Maybe that’s something I’m doing wrong, but that’s been my experience so far. I don’t care because I plug it in enough to charge it that it’s no big deal. Lastly, I had trouble with the flip up feet on the bottom of the keyboard. There are two different feet that flip out so that you can choose from 2 different angles. The shorter of the two feet snapped right off when I flipped them out…not one, but both feet. I don’t really care because I don’t like the short feet, but you definitely need to very careful with those feet. The higher feet seem a lot stronger and I haven’t had any trouble with them. Functionally, this is an exceptional keyboard. It feels great and is highly customizable. I haven’t even scratched the surface of all the things you can do with it in this review. If Geeking out in customization land is your thing, you will love this keyboard.

I'm a fan of low profile keyboards. Once corsair debuted this thing I knew I had to have it. After 1 day of use I'm in love with it. Feels good and looks good.

Works great, sleek design, wired or wireless options. Bought two at the same time for me and girlfriend and we both love them!

Amazing wireless keyboard that strikes the best balance of gamer and productivity features. Beware that you may need the iCue 4.29.201 Beta software if you want to upgrade the firmware, modify the lights, etc. I am a pretty big keyboard nerd and have always preferred Corsair keyboards for the LED brightness, tactile response and build quality. This purchase was a bit of a risk as it's such a new model with hardly any reviews out there. Fortunately, I am happy to report this is now my favorite keyboard and it does not disappoint!
