It hates being detected after shutdown, neat lighting options but annoying having to unplug and replug all the time

Sometimes keys are not registering. For example, when pressing two keys at a time it will not register the second key or third key pressed resulting in death of in- game characters.

This is awesome! Great keyboard, love all the features! Just love it for gaming. Great buy!

The keyboard is built extremely well but i couldnt get past the loud dinging noise since the metal frame is hollow. So i ended up returning

This is a great mechanical keyboard geared a little more towards a traditional setup for work and light mix with gaming. It doesn’t have the extra macro keys and not as much RGB and gaming or audio type controls keeping it paired down. It feels a little more muted then the true gaming keyboard (which has the cherry mx speed key set) but overall is a pleasant typing experience.

It looks nice, functions properly, but I wish I spent a little more to get a better model.

Nothing wrong with the functionality of the keyboard. Just hated how the keys felt as it felt like super dry plastic with ridges.

Icue is horrible. All these years and it still functions the same way. That's the software out of the way. Now the board. Feels light and actually moves a bit when stationary. The wrist rest is cheap, feels cheap, and it serves zero purpose. The lighting, at max, is dull. I have a Roccat Pyro that feels DRAMATICALLY greater then the K70. It is on sale at 49.99 at the time of this review. Over time I changed the keycaps to some hyperx pudding caps and I immediately put in back in place of the K70. I had a lapse in judgment and thankfully it was very brief. I have tried many keyboards over the years. In the end my Pyro still stands out as VERY easy to use, very fast to type on, and just overall simple. The software is super easy to use as well. Way too much hype over the K70.

Using a Corsair keyboard is like driving a well-tuned fine sports car - there's just no greater feeling! Tactile clicks, positive feedback from all the keys, and there's no questioning whether it took your keystoke. I had to download the latest/greatest iCue software since this keyboard was not supported by the version I used previously, but once I did that the system recognized it and I was up and running within seconds. Just like all previously used Corsair keyboards, the software had easy-to-use RGB definition sections, allowing you to use or alter pre-defined setups, as well as your own custom setup on a per-key level. On the rear of this keyboard there is a switch allowing you to select a tournament mode that sets it to a state which would be required for esports or competitive play use. One click and it's done, then switch it back when you're done in your competition and have it your way once again afterwards. The keyboard is made of premium materials and weighs several pounds - no mistaking it for an OEM e-waste clunker that is included with most machines. It's a fine addition to any system though, whether it's at home or in the office. FAIR WARNING - you'll want one for every machine you have once you use one!

Out of the box the keys kept sticking. The colors arent bright on the highest setting.

I had used the original LUX Corsair K70 for multiple years, loving the wrist rest until I needed to replace it from general wear. After unboxing this, I was immediately dissatisfied with the comparison. The volume wheel feels very cheap, the key caps are double shot PBT but feel like cheap 3D printing filament with the rough edges. Watch a YouTube video for better options in this price range, or buy a cheaper keyboard that would match the quality of this board. Seems like Corsair sold out!

I helped my friend to place an order of this item and I received it on May 24. I gave this item to my friend on May 26. He didn’t start using it until the very end of May and then one of the keys was broken today. He used it less than 2 weeks and unfortunately it’s refundable after June 8. The customer service just tried to persuade me to buy the 2 years plan if Greek. I. Any believe that’s the only resolution to the problem, which is to make me pay extra money for it. It’s the problem of product quality, not something else. I’m so disappointed on Best Buy. This never happened to me before. I always find Best Buy a good place to purchase electronic devices and had referred it to all my friends and family. And now, I started losing my faith on it.

I gave it a five because it was delivered in its packaging nicely. I didn’t open it so I can’t speak on if it works well for me or not. But I also didn’t feel the need to rate it low either since I’ve never used it.
