Coming from an older K95 platinum that also has an aluminum frame, this model feels like Corsair cut corners, cheating their customers. This is in regard to sound dampening, not function. The frame sounds hollow and creates a noticeable metal reverb when pressing the switches which sounds similar to a ping. Additionally, the keycaps sound hollow and are very loud for a non-clicky switch. So loud in fact it woke my wife up. For those reasons, I absolutely regret my purchase. As for function, zero issues. Switches are light, very fast, and reset smoothly and very quickly. RGB shine through on the keycaps is spot on IMO. The media keys function as expected. The volume roller is smooth. Last, I think the included wrist rest and overall look of the keyboard is clean.

The keys feel real smooth and easy to press. I like the spounds that each button makes. The color that show smooth my mood. I can cleary see each letter in the dark and with light. It looks so good in my gamming room. It matches my other LED lights and integratea with the rest of them.

This is the best keyboard that I've owned so far. By the time of this review, I've been using this keyboard for over a month. I'm nowhere near a "keyboard snob" but I've had a handful of both membrane and mechanical keyboards previously. This keyboard is solid and the build feels great. I find the volume roller cylinder at the top right to be VERY useful. While the mechanical keys are subjective for each person, I do really like the Cherry MX Speed switches, and they are my new favorite. Before, I was a huge fan of the Cherry Browns. I've also read that some people don't like the wrist rest attachment, which can be removed, although personally I like it; it feels good and natural to me when typing. I was never a huge "RGB fan" but it actually works well and looks kinda cool. I've not had any troubles with the Corsair iQUE software either, but generally don't keep it running and prefer to use the hardware-based profiles. The only negative for me is the "ping" sound that the spacebar makes when pressed with a certain force. But really, it's not that bad - I'm just nitpicking at this point. I'd definitely buy this keyboard again.
