Im an avid gamer so I get excited and mash the Hell outta the keys sometimes. This new keyboard has mx silver switches. My old had the red version. The only difference as far as I can tell, these new switches seem to activate a little smoother and faster. Still has the audible keystroke. Very fast and I love the volume scoll wheel at the top. So yeah, Corsair has made an awesome mechanical keyboard. They will get my money every time.

Unfortunately BestBuy stocks these with the Cherry "Speed" keys which are very sensitive and are taking a while to get used to (many double-strike errors). I would prefer the Cherry Red keys.

The overall look and feel of the keyboard is nice. I had a very major issue, I dont know if this was on my end, but pressing the keys had ringing metallic sound to it. I understand it is a mechanical keyboard, and there is supposed to be a clicky sound, but this metallic ringing sound made me return it. Its a sound ive never heard from a mechanical keyboard.
