only had this for about 3 months and 2 of the 4 strips shorted out and no longer work

Nothing on the box states these lights are only designed for computer towers. This would have saved me a trip

I picked up one of these and opened them up when I got home and two of the strips were broken in half. Went back to the store and exchanged them only to get back home and none of them work, I’m extremely disappointed.

Something is wrong with the ICUE software and I Cannot recommend this because of that.

Im not one to write reviews especially bad ones. But when things catch fire it needs to be mentioned. I plugged it as instructed, the 9 pin connector to a sata cable for power and then to usb 2.0 header for control but as soon as i turned on my pc the power brick caught fire. Luckily nothing else did

Purchased for $54.00 not knowing you have to buy more eq($70.00) to make it work definitely recommend something else, and the magnetic strip is not strong enough to hold, even with the included 3m tape.

I bought the item connected it as instructed nothing didn't even turn on maybe I just got a bad item. But I had to return it a waste of time to get this maybe someone else might have better luck.

I bought this to do an rgb build for a friend and was disapointed as it was missing a strip, and one of the led strips was damaged beyond repair.

I plugged everything in correctly and the icue software was not recognizing it. I was not the only one having this problem. I should have done some research before buying.

When I bought the item and took it out the box to connect it to my pc the item never worked.

These things sucked and never worked. Waste of money

Purchased these lights when my old CCFL lights broke in my case. First off, I do suggest that Corsair revise their instruction sheet or create a video to illustrate the proper method of installing these lights depending on your setup. I was unsure how to install these lights from the rather simple instruction sheet provided - luckily, I did find third party videos on YouTube which clarified where the manufacturer did not. This should not be the normal installation expectations from any company that has as much brand recognition as Corsair. The other issue I had, was that the first box of these lights I purchased had either faulty strips or a faulty control box - the lights worked for about 5 minutes and then went dead - the Lighting Node hub was detected in Windows 10 and iCue, but no amount of cable reinstalling, iCue settings adjustment, or firmware re-flashing made the lights come back to life. I ended up exchanging the product at my local store for a new set (rather than RMA as it would have taken longer), and all is well - hopefully this is not a repeat occurrence. That being said, once you figure out installation and if you get a good batch of these strips, they are great lights. Bright, and the iCue software is super easy to use with LOTS of presets to try out. Thanks!

Love this hub able to keep it all nice and organized and the software makes it so I can control everything quick and easy software seems a little bloated and uses a lot of resources

The title says it pretty well, I love the amount of features it has in the Corsair LINK software. With this software you can also monitor your hardware, which is a definite plus! Very easy to install, all you need is a SADA from your power supply and a USB port on your motherboard. SUPER EASY AND BEAUTIFUL!

Bought this at a local best buy. I always do things on my own but instructions were incredibly unclear and online instructions did not help. When plugged in they began smoking and melted the plastic on the controller and fried my motherboard. Am now in the process of replacing it.

One strip is broke only 1 LED will light up all the other strips work fine was very expensive and I’m extremely upset at this product
