Excellent Upgrade, Easy Install
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Back in my day, you had to pre-format new drives before installing them in PS3’s, and PS4 installs were equally cumbersome with thumbdrive OS installs. The install process took barely 5 minutes: pop off the side, unscrew the plate, and seat the drive with the M.2 screw the console has under the plate. Put everything back, turn console on, and system will format— go to settings and either prioritize your install location or just start moving games over. I can nearly fit all of my PS5 games now!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been running this particular drive since July 2022 and say with certainty there is no discernable difference in this one and the "fastest" Ps5 drives. People that state higher priced drives run so much faster than this one are exaggerating; there is not huge difference. I've run several different Ps5 drives to find out myself and the difference is infinitesimal . This drive works great. You'll see the difference running a SSD like this in your Ps5.

I've been recommending them to all of my friends who are also getting and or thinking about getting a PS5.
