I bought this to replace an old PCP&C 750W non-modular PS that was causing my GPU to squeal with an intolerable coil whine. Replacing with this PS worked as expected, and my rig is now much quieter.

Well packaged, easy to work with, and quiet. I hadn't built a PC in a long time. This was on sale and gave adequate power for setting up a custom build Plenty of high quality cables

You can't go wrong with the Corsair RM series. Seems like most of the gaming PC build go with the RMx series for standard builds. The PSU is quiet, modular, and consistent.

My old Corsair just hit ten years old and began wheezing after being the only transplant with the DVD-ROM into a brand new set up. I figured it was time and got this one. It feels sturdy as hell, the cables could be thicker, I do prefer how they were in my old TX750W, but they aren't too bad. I love the modular aspect, never had that before, and this has the extra 4 pin plug for my motherboard that I absolutely don't need whatsoever but in the words of the Fünkes, that way we have it. Also, I can barely hear anything coming out of my computer now. It's whisper quiet, if that. I'm very happy. Here's to another decade!

This is a great power supply, with enough power for desktop GPU with any single graphics card, RTX 3090 included. All the cables are modular and it is sturdy and quiet.

Installed on my pc used for an i5 10600k system with dual nvidia Gtx 1070’s Great modular psu, even had a cable that supply’s power to both gpu’s from one outlet.

I purchased this to replace my Dell 8930 power supply and it fit perfectly. Modular design with cables lets you organize your wires correctly. This unit is powering my 2080 Ti w/ an i7 8700.

Great modular power supply. I ended up using custom cables, however the cables that came with it seemed decent, they just didn’t match the theme of my build.

This is large enough to run most systems. Good selection of cables and is a modular setup. This was a replacement for an EVGA 750, which died within 3 years. Hopefully this has a better lifespan.

I haven't used it long, but the 750w that I bought 10 years ago for another computer is still going 10 years later. The modular design makes it convenient to build with.

If you're looking for more than $800 watts, this power supply is perfect. Easily handled the two GPUs I threw at it. Quiet too, never heard anything from it.

Excellent PSU. High quality cables (although I'm not a fan of those cables that use double 8 pin connectors). Quiet and easily powers a 10700k and 6800xt

This beast went into the first build I've done in 15 years. So far so good. I've never used a modular PSU before, but it was easy to use! Pretty quiet, too.

I bought this to replace a failing PSU (different brand) that was causing sudden reboots under high GPU load. The problem persisted for months actually as I was troubleshooting and waiting on RMA (twice actually - the first replacement PSU from the other brand had the same fault). But after swapping various components I knew it was the PSU in both cases. I picked the RM850x because I've heard great things about the RMx line, and happy to report that I've not had a single crash now

This power supply is in line with my multi-graphics system, it is powerful enough, and there are many interfaces, it is also relatively quiet.

Great power supply and it is very quiet. The warranty is also nice. I've had no issues with it! It being fully modular is awesome as well.

Corsair RMx 850W was bought for new gaming PC powered by a 3080 nividia card. Works great, quiet, fully modular. Everything one would want in a power supply.
