You get what you pay for. I bought a cheap power supply from Microcenter and it failed within a month. Then I bought this one because my older system had a corsair and it still running and has been for 5 years. I have had this for more than 6 months and it still running smooth, running a Ryzen 3600 and RTX 2070 super. No issue at all. Worth the price and quality of CORSAIR.

I used this PSU to build my first rig, and it was an excellent choice, nice and compact fit nicely in my case. Cables are all fully modular and easy to manage what you use and don’t use. The fan has no whine and it’s very quiet, I’ve had it for about a month now with about 8hrs of on time daily and no issues. I will stick with this brand of PSU from now on. (switched over from EVGA power supplies)

Evga has consistantly put out great psus. This one has so far worked fine enough. The real test is in the time. In my experience, almost everytime ive gone with some discount brand power supply, i regret it. Not always, but enough that i stick to these, or the other good brand of psu. You know the one. Named after a Barbary coast privateer. Anyway. Good brand, good unit.

Very good power supply. Im running my high end setup with about 450 watts. If this is your first build, one thing people dont mention is that your power supply works most efficiently when its being used at about 50-70 percent. You may think this is overkill, but it leaves rooms for upgrades, and ensures my power is running efficiently. The shipping was on time, and im very satisfied about this product.

Initially was going to use a 750W but, then I was able to order a RTX 3090 instead of a 3080 with an i9 processor. Decided it was best to increase to the 850W just in case the load was too much. So far, I have had no issues. Cables are not permanently connected to the supply so, you won't have unnecessary wires in your case. Very easy to connect and keep the wires organized.

Yes this is a trusted CPU part brand. I’ve been building PCs since before scalpers wanted to control the parts market and you can always rely on Corsair power supplies. I built a $1500 rig and this was my choice for power supply. It’s quite, efficient and the package comes with extra connectors in case you building something more power than what I have.

Corsair makes very good power supplies. And this is no exception. Full modular and good certifications. Be aware that most computers will not need one of this size (wattage). What keeps it from a perfect score IMO all comes down to the cables. First, they dont match. This is unforunate in this day of glass sided computer cases. it would be nice if all power cables matched. But the power to MB & GPU are traditional sleeved and the SATA / Molex are black wire. Also the GPU cables have a capacitor bulge close to the plug and utilize split ends. For the price it would have been nice to see two or three options for GPU rather than this one size fits all sort of approach. I'm sure that it will work for years, but I wouldn't use it in a show pc.
