While some users reported an audible coil whine, the majority found the unit to run cool and efficiently. The positive feedback on quality and ease of use outweighs the relatively few negative comments.

I don't hear it at all. Love the white cables it comes with. Saves the additional costs of purchasing the colored cables separately. Now I dont have to worry about any lack of power if I ever choose to upgrade any other component.

Excellent, quiet (and reasonably priced) power supply w/ good cable management. Running very well as expected in my DIY build powering AMD Ryzen 7 3800x on an ASRock x570 Taichi mobo and a EVGA RTX2700 Super GPU. No problems at all after ~11 months.

I’ve used Corsair power supply’s my entire life, they all lasted the longest time, and this one is no exception. On top of how long it will last the modularity is also fantastic. Cables are a bit weird to maneuver so it might be best to buy some cablemod cables.

If your considering of getting a Corsair psu this is your go to it works properly and is amazing I plugged all my cable extensions perfectly fine with this and I barely pass 300W so if you’re budget is quite high go with this since everything is overpriced

Once again, Corsair delivered. This came with every cable you'll ever need, and enough juice to power a 3080, I-9 (both OC'd) an AiO cooler, and enough fans to cool my game room!

Love this modular power supply. It has been great so far and had plenty of options for my needs. Also like that the cables aren't Ketchup and Mustard colored and all black. If you do get this, you may want to also look at getting cable set to add some bling.

Looks good, stays quite, and I really like the modular design. The one thing I don’t understand is why on earth would anyone design SATA cables that come off the cable and at 90°?! Makes it very difficult to manage cables behind the solid panel of my case. I can kind of understand the 2-3 inline with the rest of them but the one on the very end could at bare minimum be straight as I used that one for the SATA connection that doesn’t quite reach the underside where I can tuck the other in.

850 watts is enough to handle all your PC power needs. Since it’s modular you’ll only have to connect the cables you need for your build making cable management simple. All my PSUs are Corsair and I’ve never had an issue with any of them.

This is a solid PSU. Great 10 Yr Warranty. I'm building a new pc that will have either a RX 6800 XT or a Nvidia 3080 and wanted to purchase a unit with enoughI headroom. It will be going into a Cooler Master ATCS 840. It is extremely quiet.

Works great! Upgraded to handle new graphics card and has been working great since. Modular cables are a definite plus to have clean wire management. The only con was the 24 pin for the mobo was a bit stiff to turn but not a big deal.

I started with the Cooler Master 750W Modular PSU, but the coil whine was unbearable. This Corsair was my first choice, so I exchanged the Cooler Master. What a difference! This Corsair is dead silent, and there is zero coil whine in my setup. Great unit!

Modular power design makes it easy to use. All you need to do is plug in the cables that you need and it minimizes the amount of excess cables you need to manage. Having some basic understanding of electronics would be very helpful though.

Great power supply, came with all the power cables needed. Just built up a system using Corsair 750D case, Corsair H100i Liquid cooler, ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XI MOBO, Gigabyte Ge Force GTX 2070 OC 3X. Power supply has no issues handling the load.

I have used many Corsair power supplies and went with the RM series, seems reliable. I read to pass on the CX ,also have had great success with the HX 1000 and HX 1200i and haven't had one issue. I have them running 24 / 7 .

This power supply provides enough power to run my needy system. The PSU cables are as you can imagine very big and chunky and if you care about aesthetics I would recommend customs cables. The only complaint I have is my PSU gives off a hot burning smell when the fan runs, I’ve never had this problem with EVGA and I contacted Corsair but have not been contacted regarding this issue, it may just be an isolated problem. Overall very good PSU for $160.

Have owned EVGA and Corsair power supplies and both are solid. For a recent Gaming build, we tried the RM850X and it is quiet and no issues whatsover running GTX1080 and Ryzen 2700X with 7 fans. Included cables are excellent quality as well. Corasir support is also excellent.

It was easy to install and it runs great in my tower. Everything I could ask for in a power supply. Heavier than I expected. It is tough to find quality power supplies available in the market today but this one fits the bill.

This has been an excellent power supply so far. The fully modular design with plenty of cable options made building the system very easy, and the fan has not had to work so far since I have been running with low load (no GPU yet).
