Great as always, have used this variant PSU in all my builds. Just a heads up, just bc you get a 80+ gold PSU, doesn't make it a quality PSU, it's just an efficiency rating. This Corsair checks both tick marks

Never had any problem with this PSU unfortunatelly i had to swich to EVGA cause my Case is a Lian Li 011 mini qhich only takes SFX PSU but i definetly recommend this power supply really quiet

This is a fantastic power supply. I replaced a Rosewill 850W capstone because it was loud and this is significantly quieter. I am using a full set of Noctua fans and reduced noise is important to me. Cables are great quality and are sleeved. I did not rate this 5 stars because it is expensive, and it is a large size and may not fit in all builds. SATA power connectors can be difficult to work with.

works like it should, no problems so far. only nice thing would be that all the wires are braided, its only 24pin and 8pin cpu. bought a cable mod kid so they would all be braided. aesthetics ya heard

The Corsair RMx 850W worked as expected, plug and play without issues. It was fairly to install. Cables for various peripherals were easily connected to properly labeled connectors. I highly recommend this PS.

This is in a dual CPU server running heavy machine learning workloads. In the past year it's had very little downtime, and the PSU is still going strong. Fully modular is worth the money if you can afford it.

Very easy to fit into the case especially with the fully modular cables. More than enough power to handle a 5900x and a 3080 Gigabyte Vision OC, even with with plenty of headroom for overclocking.

Simple to use, fully modular, nice color theme, and when you have the fan face down the logo is up straight. I couldn't really complain about having this so far, and the 80+ gold is really nice to have.

What can I say... this is one of the best, most popular power supplies out there. 850w Gold so great for gaming systems. Lots of power, cables are nicely made and the PSU itself seems to be very well built.

Great power supply for new builds and to upgrade. The module design help keep things clean and simple by using only the wires needed. Come with a pouch to store all additional wires for expansions in the future.

I've always used Corsair power supply's and have never had a problem out of them and the reason for getting this one os because I needed it for my RTX 3080. I would recommend this to anyone

Had a non modular Power supply before purchasing this one the Corsair 850 PS provides more than enough power to my high end Gaming rig and really cleaned up a lot of cables that I did not need !

Standard build with Tomahawl Max MB and SSD and M.2 drives. Running an RTX 2060 but plan on upgrading it once prices become reasonable for a RTX 3080. Power is sufficient for now but leaves reserved power for a water cooler for CPU and the 3080. Installed for over a month or two and no problems with current hardware after 2-3 hours continuously in DCS World, Ghost Recon titles, and Destiny 2.

I got this option over the 750w due to its efficiency and future expansions. I can't say how satisfied I am. They even give you a nice bag to store your cables. Corsair PSU is the best! Just get it.

Pros: build quality and a good reputation from other reviews. I recently built a computer with a corsair case and this power supply. The process was easy with minimum issues. It worked on the first power up and is really silent. Cons: Corsair continues to use thick cables for their main and PCI E cables which makes routing them difficult. I would like all flat cables.

Very stable power supply. The unit comes with more than enough cables to connect anything you may want or need. I especially like the zippered case to store "spare" cables in for future use.

Upgraded to ensure I'd have enough juice to power a 3080, which it does with flying colors. It's very quiet and has been completely stable in my system. Cables are a little stiff but manageable.

This PSU comes with really nice braided cables. The storage case is also a nice touch. I've been using it for over a month now and never hear the fan run or any thing.
