I had the 750w version of this PSU last year for my old build when I bought the Nvidia RTX 2080 Super. No issues with that power supply. Then I decided to buy this PSU for my new build and for the sake of future proofing. If you have noticed the Nvidia RTX 3080 that have recently came out, its power requirement is 750w! For the extra dollars, it's something worth to consider if you plan on upgrading your video card in the near future. I reused my video card from my old build and installed it in my new build along with this new PSU without any problems at all. Like the 750w version, this one is easy to install and is also fully modular meaning that you can pick and choose what cables you actually need for your build.

Good reliable power supply from a well known brand. Plenty of power for a 5900X and RTX 3080 build. Fully modular, the cables could look a bit nicer however. Ended up getting a set of extension cables.

PSU prices aren’t as good as they used to be. Quality of this one is good though. Abundance of cables too. One of the best 850 W PSU despite being originally released around 2018.

Cannot go wrong with this brand. If you want reliable, clean power this is it. Will run one high end video card, two M2 Nvme’s. If you need additional high end video cards get a bigger power supply.

One of the best Gold-rated PSU's you can get (based on LTT PSU Tier List). It's super quiet due to the zero RPM mode, and even under gaming loads with a 5900X and an RTX 3070 I cannot hear it.

I had a 750 watt Corsair and when I bought a 3090 I had issues with games crashes etc.... So, I bought the 850 watt. No issues since! Love Corsair! Their power supplies are very reliable.

Extremely quiet, very efficient, very economical. Modular is very useful. Only complaint is that it doesn't come with any PCIE cables that aren't daisy chained, but that's a very minor issue.

Have been using this power supply for a quite a while now. It serves me well, and it's quality is great. No coil whine, no defects, and no complaints from me. It was shipped properly, so that's good.

Easy to install and had worked perfectly since. I've never had problems with Corsair PSUs. Runs my 10850k and 3090 FE with no issues. Great PSU for this generations processors and graphics cards.

Love this thing. Quiet and fan only runs under load. Replaced a thermaltake that had terrible coil whine during any game. This one has been completely silent so far and pulling its weight.

Upgraded to a 2080ti and needed to upgrade an old PSU. Modular is the way to go, by only plugging in the wires that you actually need. Now I have more room in my PC case and enough power to spare.

Needed the power to run my Ryzen 3700x. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the wire harnesses plug into the power supply, so that there are no unused cables hanging in the cabinet.

Great psu. Quiet and no problems with the unit. Cables are nice, and easily swappable within corsairs ecosystem. Check for cable compatibility first just to be sure though.
