    When I installed this in my latest PC build, there was a soft "pop", then nothing. I suspect the internal fuse blew, but that's not user serviceable, so this PSU was DOA. Thankfully Best Buy accepted the return no issues and no hassle.

    I’ve only had this power supply 10 months and it has consistently given me major problems for the past two months. Corsair customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with so I recommend NOT buying Corsair if you can avoid it

    Did my research on PSUs before pulling the trigger on this one. Built my PC in November and not even 4 months in, the power supply crapped out on me. To make matters worse, the return window closed two weeks ago.

    Should've Tested After Purchase

    Didn't have connectors I needed. Held onto for a potential future build, which happened this week. It didn't provide power, I sent a warranty claim to Corsair.

    I got a failing power supply. I couldn’t play a single game without getting a blue screen overall not impressed but I was just unlucky. I’m going to try out the EVGA one see if my luck isn’t that bad.

    Plugged in, powered up, started smoking instantly. Fried my ssd and all my rgb lights in my case. Corsair refused to take any responsibility do not buy.

    i know there are many positive reviews that outrank the negatives but i beg, please DONT buy this product! it works for a good 5 mins then shuts off never turning back on again. worst product please don’t purchase.

    Emitted Buzzing Noise

    This PSU emitted a buzzing noise which is an indication of a bad PSU. I’ve had Corsair PSU’s in the past that were fine so I must’ve gotten a bad unit.

    Doesn’t come with clean gpu cables. I have to buy a cable kit so I don’t have a bunch of daisy chains hanging around??? Why would a 850w power supply not be prepared to be used with high end gpus?

    Buzzing all the time with small loading. Exchanged one but with same issue. Will not go back to corsair (but their keyboard and RAM are awesome)

    Turned OFF after booting to Windows 10 (about 10 seconds). Corsair tech support said it was defective. Exchanged for an EVGA which works fine.
