    Solid power supply that's replacing an aging 750w EVGA unit. This PSU is quiet and the fan rarely, if ever, runs, so I haven't had to clean the PSU dust filter on my case. My GPU 12-pin GPU connector also hasn't melted (yet). Insofar, solid unit.

    The RM1000x consumes a lot of power compared to my other 1k power supplies . The power draw is almost the same as my HXI1500 . I have 4 computers all built the same except the power supplies . I am on the fence about recommending this power supply since it does seem to use a lot more power than others but it is my most stable . I run 2 different REED INSTRUMENTS Power Meters for all testing
