    The RM1000x consumes a lot of power compared to my other 1k power supplies . The power draw is almost the same as my HXI1500 . I have 4 computers all built the same except the power supplies . I am on the fence about recommending this power supply since it does seem to use a lot more power than others but it is my most stable . I run 2 different REED INSTRUMENTS Power Meters for all testing

    Just what you need to future proof for AMD or Nvidia GPUs! 6 pcie ports and a 12vx2 port. Let me run a Gigabyte 9070XT with an MSI B850 Max Tomahawk mono and a Corsair Titan AIO 360mm (which took all 6 pcie ports), then I switched to an MSI RTX5070ti and could use the newer 12v power cable (much cleaner to say the least!).

    You cant beat a Corsair PSU. They rarely have problems, they're high quality, and they come with a great warranty! I use Corsair Power Supplies in basically every computer I build/Repair
