Got this as a gift for my son. I would consider him picky on his headphones and so far he loves them!

Unfortunately, you need a PC to upgrade the software from the headset. And the box does not say that before I own a PS5 and do not have a PC. So without updating the software, it sounds awful.. took them back the next day.

I love my Virtuoso XTs and have been using them daily since launch. I was stoked for the Maxes until I put them on my head. The pads are extremely deceiving and are 100% foam. 2/3rds of the thickness of the earpads are hard plastic and the material is very rough. I tried wearing these for a couple hrs and the pressure points are terrible. So I can't recommend them for now. When 3rd party started to make replacement pads for these then I will probably pick them up. They also removed the 3.5mm input and the ability to use these with the included USB-C to USB-A cable so that's another negative compared to the previous XTs.

A good product for the price. It was a gift. The recipient seemed very pleased to get it.

When my headset broke I popped into bestbuy to claim the geek squad protection on my device. Unfortunately my original headset wasn’t in stock in store and I needed a replacement immediately. I grabbed this Corsair Virtuoso MAX because I have been using the Corsair virtuoso line for years. This headset has a forced noisegate on the microphone and a forced noise cancellation on the headset. Neither can be changed or adjusted by the user. This makes the headset unusable for anyone actually needing a quality mic. When I went to return it I actually lost a ton of money because bestbuy ended up not honoring my original purchase price of my geek squad protected headset. It was a horrible experience with Corsair and with Best Buy. I wouldn’t recommend.

Probably the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned, less than five months old and the head band cracked, 2 months of having mic issues before I gave up and bought a desk mic DO NOT BUY, you would think the head band would be a lil more sturdy for the headset that cost this much. thought it was quality but instead got garbage. Just for you info, Corsair does not have any customers service that you can call it's all done threw email and they take there time to respond. So think twice before you buy this headset. OR ANY OF THERE PRODUCTS!

Heres the problem. Too much high of a price but you release it with mic dvd quality.....when the previous headset has a studio quality mic.... like whats up with that

Terrible. Like everyone else mentioned, they cut out. A lot. And before everything me thinks it’s because of my neighbors wifi, I am a wireless network engineer. I have an amazing strong wireless connection. These things just suck. The worst part is, my entire computer build is based on Corsair products. The support sucks. I won’t be a Corsair customer again. I just want equipment that works and this is just a bunch of hopium in a box. I hoped it would work, but it failed miserably. I spent 4 days troubleshooting it with zero success. The icue software just continues to lock up. Even after a fresh windows only installl. Back to Logitech I go.

Audio felt like I was in a theatre with concrete floors, flat tones, sounded too spatial, apart from that; I kept getting static noises brand new out the box, returned after a weekend with them

These have to be the most quiet headset I have ever owned. The quality if sound is immaculate. But my god they are quiet as can be. Gamer for over 20 years... Was playing a game and I couldnt hear somone running in the hallway outside of the room I was in. Awful.

Love them very much. I will say they’re not for everyone but overall i love them.

The sound and other functions are good. however the top of the headset will crack. It's very cheaply made for how much money they cost. I bought two (one for me and my son). His broke before the receipt time expired. Mine is cracking and his replacement one is also cracking in the same spot. We do not mishandle or treat the heads roughly.

Great headset but, the head band WILL SNAP after a few months with normal use and zero miss use. I can not recommended headset that will snap after 4 months.

Picked up this headset for both gaming and work. It did a great job at both. For Gaming, i utilized it on my XBOX. It connects via a USB-A dongle. Simply plug in and away you go. 2.4Ghx wireless gives you plenty of distance in any living room. I think I can actually go almost across the house and not lose audio! The sound is great and the active noise cancellation works well. This is an over the ear design. So you don't have that constance pressure against your ear. And I didn't really get much heat trapped like some other headsets I've used in the past. I really like the detachable boom mic. with the flexible arm. Alows me to take it off if not in use. No touch here! All analog button and rotational control for volume. I'm old - so this was a nice feature for me. And not having to remember touch patterns to do a function. Really like that it came with a storage case. Its a nice lined case. holds the headphones securely with enough room for the usb cable and dongle. as well. Wish there were a cable passthrough for charging though. I did finagle the cable along the zipper. But maybe for the next version! OVerall, very functional device. Build is very good. And expect a long time of use out of this unit.
