Unfortunately my original headset wasn’t in stock in store and I needed a replacement immediately. I grabbed this Corsair Virtuoso MAX because I have been using the Corsair virtuoso line for years. This headset has a forced noisegate on the microphone and a forced noise cancellation on the headset. Neither can be changed or adjusted by the user. This makes the headset unusable for anyone actually needing a quality mic. When I went to return it I actually lost a ton of money because bestbuy ended up not honoring my original purchase price of my geek squad protected headset. It was a horrible experience with Corsair and with Best Buy. I wouldn’t recommend.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Probably the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned, less than five months old and the head band cracked, 2 months of having mic issues before I gave up and bought a desk mic DO NOT BUY, you would think the head band would be a lil more sturdy for the headset that cost this much. thought it was quality but instead got garbage. Just for you info, Corsair does not have any customers service that you can call it's all done threw email and they take there time to respond. So think twice before you buy this headset. OR ANY OF THERE PRODUCTS!

But my god they are quiet as can be. Gamer for over 20 years... Was playing a game and I couldnt hear somone running in the hallway outside of the room I was in. Awful.

Pretty poor for being their “flagship” headset. The padding looks huge but it really is only like a 1/4” and the top headbands trash too. Don’t waste your time and this is from someone who’s entire pc is made with Corsair products.

And before everything me thinks it’s because of my neighbors wifi, I am a wireless network engineer. I have an amazing strong wireless connection. These things just suck. The worst part is, my entire computer build is based on Corsair products. The support sucks. I won’t be a Corsair customer again. I just want equipment that works and this is just a bunch of hopium in a box. I hoped it would work, but it failed miserably. I spent 4 days troubleshooting it with zero success. The icue software just continues to lock up. Even after a fresh windows only installl. Back to Logitech I go.
