These have great quality fit and finish, sound is great, and very comfortable to wear hours at a time. The only thing I really can complain about is the fact that it does not work wireless with Xbox like the BestBuy salesman told me they would (they do work while plugged in). Overall would recommend especially for PC use.

Extremely happy with this headset. I use it for work (home office) and gaming (such as COD: MW). My voice is clear when talking to others in game or on a conference call. When listening to music you'll need to adjust the equalizer to get a well balanced sound. 7.1 surround with a bass boost in COD places sounds so accurately that it's unmistakable where event are occuring. Batter-life is so good as I haven't had to worry about it at all! The build quality is very very premium and sturdy. Not scared to let my kids use it from time to time because it's so we'll built. Worth every penny!

I’ll be honest. This purchase was made with much hesitancy. I previously bought Corsair’s HS70 Pro Headset. The device lasted a about a month and then suddenly stopped pairing appropriately. I contacted Corsair for support, their response was not much help at all. So I returned the headset and bought these. The Virtuoso’s are an upgrade and a bit higher of a price tag than the HS70s, and so far they were worth it! Excellent sound! I can wear them for hours without overheating or getting a headache. My brand loyalty ultimately pulled through with this purchase and I am happy I stuck with them.

The wireless feature is designed for PC & PlayStation. Which enables the RBG LED lights l. If you want to use with Xbox you have to use the 3.5mm audio jack. Switching to the 3.5mm audio connection disables the RBG LED lights BUT you can bypass this by plugging the headset into any power source. I like to just keep a portable charger in my pocket and run the USB-c to the power. Then boom , Xbox & LED lights.. but now you have 2 wires. Sound quality review : when I’m playing COD warzone I literally feel like I’m in the game. This headset can discern sound from floors beneath you, above you, rooms to left and right. Download iCue on your computer to updates drivers every now & then.

Upgraded to these from my Corsair Void Pro and I get comments almost daily about how good my mic sounds when speaking in meetings while WFH. Very good build quality and comfortable. A little pricey and there are other options in range but I am glad to have these. Another small feature that I absolutely love is I no longer need to manually toggle sound devices on Windows from my speakers. As soon as I power these on it automatically switches over and back once turned off. Its the little things in life that add up

I use this headset for listening to music during the day and gaming at night. They are very comfortable, easy to set up and work without issue. I can charge them if my computer while wearing them in case I run the battery low. The range on these is pretty decent allowing me to wander most of the house and still stay connected. The built in mute button on the mic is nice to provide flexibility over push to talk and the removable mic is nice for when I am just listening to music. They also integrated with my IMac without any issue and were perfect for what I need.

Decided to splurge on myself and get something good. I am a ham radio operator, watch a lot of videos, and play some games. Use these for all of that. Very high quality and look great, not cheap plastic. Mike is fantastic and comes off when dont need. Ear pieces are very soft and comfortable. Can use wired usb or with usb dongle transmitter. I even wore them one day cutting grass out side and they worked about 20 feet or so through the wall to the yard from the computer. A little spotty but still surprised they worked that far.

Feels like a solid premium headset. The best by corsair so far. But my only problem with this headset was the lack of bass. For 200$ I would expect some decent bass. But its horrible. Other than that, everything else is amazing.

Build Quality Issues, Lack of Bass, but Good Mic

The Problem: Got the headset yesterday and sat down for a gaming session. The hinge in the right ear cup was very squeaky, but overall not a huge deal. However, after 3 hours, the right driver completely shorted out and is no longer functional. Will be returning the headset. Review of headphones while it was functioning: Headphones sound decent, but are very light on bass. For reference, I was upgrading from Corsair HS70s. Mic isn't perfect, but is more than good enough for comms in any game, a huge upgrade from the HS70 mic. However, it still falls short of "broadcast" quality. If you're doing professional work, or want to be serious about your stream, definitely look to get a separate mic. @Corsair - TERRIBLE placement of the charging port. The cable digs directly into your left shoulder if you're using the headphones wired.

      Hi zero,

Apologize for the issue you had regarding the driver in the right earcup. Hopefully when you get an exchange you can give this a try: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDbo7mhuu1I

As far as the placement of the charging port, all feedback matters and I can definitely report this to the team that handles those recommendations.

Amazing sound quality, easy to use, durable, and comfortable on the ears. How never not comfortable on the head. After about an hour my head will start to hurt in the spot where the headband has been. I just move it to a different position and it’s fine for about another hour.

This headset feels super premium. I love the aluminum construction and detachable microphone. The sound quality is good but has weak bass out of the box. With icue running and a custom EQ it sounds great, only thing its missing is a chat mixer.

So I decided to try again with these headphones after the Asus set I was using finally totally died. The good: Build quality is high, utilizing a metal components in some of the high stress areas. I do like the convenience of simply flicking a switch and being able to go wireless and move around when I need to. The Bad: For the first couple of weeks the clamping force was very uncomfortable as others have brought up. However after about a month of use it has stretched some to fit my head. As I stated in my other review of the black version, this is not a true 7.1 headset. It only have 2 drivers and not the multiple required to generate true surround sound, it is only stereo with some gimmicky software to try and reproduce surround sound. Thus far they do not compare to my previous headset which was true 7.1 The Ugly: As of the time of writing this review I am still unable to get the software for these headphones as Corsairs site has not been available. Why they can not simply include a CD or flash drive or some other form of physical media with the necessary drivers and software on it is unacceptable. Overall I would not recommend these headphones especially at the $200 price tag. The only reason I am keeping these is because I do not have a choice as I need a headset and having the ability to go wireless is enough for me.

Overall happy with my purchase, I had Corsair HS70 Pro headphones before and I like my games when played loud and have some bass. The virtuoso delivers on all fronts, great build quality and easy navigation through ICue, I’m no speaker head I game when I can and wanted a nice pair of gaming head set. The microphone had no issues and does a good job and reducing the background noise. I usually play for about 1-2 hours at a time and had no issues with it being uncomfortable on my ears.

I was reccomend these by an employee at my local best buy. The sound quality isn't what you would expect for the price you pay. Unfortunately the bass is pretty flat, although the midrange comes through clear. I was disappointed The way these headphones sit on your head is not comfortable. Most of the weight feels like it sits directly on a single point on top of your head. It is not something you can really get used to. The headphones have very nice RGB and a decent quality detachable microphone. You can also use headphones with most formata with little set up.
