I bought this mainly for the mic for work calls. The head rest pad thing does get a little uncomfortable for me personally after long use, usually 2+ hours straight. I'm sure there are way to mitigate that but since i usually mostly for work it isnt too bad. Only con is I can't install iCue on my work PC because of permissions. Shame I can't be the office disco ball on work calls.

Download iCue and put it on Bass Boost. I listen to Hip Hop (Youtube) 50% of the time and this thing knocks. Audiophiles will wet themselves. You want to hear game insects crawling 2 meters behind you on the right? Virtuoso got what you need. Put them on with no sound and listen to the world go silent. Quality...holy smokes these things got it with aluminum laptop machining and comfy pads. I have owned the top notch gaming Logitech headsets and others, but these are the finest set that has ever graced my ears. Even the microphone (removable...sweet) is a work of art and offers clean chats. USB-C charge/data port? Yes please, may I have another?

Pros: -Sleek Look -Premium Build Quality -Headset Mic Quality -Type-C -Decent Range -Battery Life -iCUE EQ (Though I used EQ APO) Cons: -Driver Hassle -Sometimes Becomes Unpaired to Reciever -Out-of-the-box sound needs work I've previously owned other corsair headsets. Out of the box, this one feels more solid, but is still quite comfortable to wear. The sound quality is great, but without adjusting the EQ, there is little to no bass in the mix, drowned out by the high end. I used Equalizer APO to fix my mix, instead of the corsair iCUE EQ. The headset functions in both USB and wireless (2.4GHz dongle) mode, with a long USB Type-C connector, in addition to a standard headphone jack. The detachable mic has a mute button built into it's base, and the quality of sound from the microphone is near that of a $100 Blue Yeti, which I was very impressed by. The volume knob on the right side changes system sound volume, instead of headset volume, which I was not used to from previous Corsair headsets, but have come to like. Charges pretty quick and battery lasts as long as advertised, 20 hours is nice. Overall, great quality with a lot of premium features, and a good sound if you're willing to mess with it a bit. Even so, you get what you pay for.

The sound and microphone are excellent when gaming and video calling, and work well for music given the high frequency response and EQ. The USB C plug is a great plus, and the battery life has been good. My only complaint is that the pressure at the top of the headphones is a little tight, even at max extension, I have a fairly medium sized head, especially when wearing a hat. It isn't too bothersome after some adjusting, but it does get a little uncomfortable after a few hours. Recently added M1 Mac support is also nice. The headphones can use the aux cable audio while also using the USB receiver/cable for audio simultaneously. Good for the price, especially if USB C is a must as it is for me.

I love the CORSAIR VIRTUOSO SE headphones are comfortable and have great volume control and microphone control as well. The 7.1 surround is great as well. 10/10 for this headset.

I've gone through 3 headsets in the past year from Steelseries, Hyperx, and Razer. This is by far the best sounding and most comfortable headset that I've have ever used.

The sound quality is 10/10. The Microphone is crystal clear and the mute indicator is much more useful than expected. The only downside is the comfort does not match other headsets in the price range.

Saw reviews regarding lack of bass. I agree however don't let it detour you from these as they're absolutely amazing. It does still have very decent bass and great sound quality.

I'm kind of a gaming headphone collector and I must say, these are really really nice. The sound is awesome with wireless and even better hard wired. Note: there is no "off" button but they time out and sleep after a few minutes. The USB C is also a nice mod. The quality of the build is 2nd to none and the brushed aluminum definitely has class. Never been a big fan of Corsair and especially the iCue interface but the ICue software has finally been fixed and works (everytime). Amen I'm a PC Call of Duty player where footsteps is everything and I couldn't be happier. Do wish they supported Dolby but they don't but the Corsair surround works good.

The fit around my ears is great. Ears are not hurting after wearing for a while. Previous headsets were uncomfortable after a while. Ears felt cramped. Great sound and love the color.

The versatility of this headset is outstanding. The surround sound in these headphones are astronomical. If you're into First Person Shooters and can't hear those footsteps like you want then these are for you. Not to mention when paired with Corsairs ICUE you can fine tune your audio even more to hear everything!

Okay, I wanted to love it so much, and usually I hate returning things because it's always a hassle.. but this is the only uncomfortable set of headphones/headset that I've ever experienced. I gamed for about 2 hours and when I went to bed, I could still feel the spot where it was contacting on top of my head hours after gaming. I ended up getting a headache and assumed that the headache was random and not due to the headset, so I didn't think much of it. The next day I gamed for about 4 hours and towards the end, my head started to hurt again. I've never had problems looking into screens for long periods so I know that isn't it. The build quality itself was really nice, the sound was pretty good after tinkering with the EQ, but I just couldn't wear it anymore. Exchanged it for an a50 because I've owned an A40 and know they are super comfortable.

These are by far the best headset I've ever owned. Extremely comfortable over the ears. Wireless distance is amazing. Sound quality is above average. Highly Recommend!

Does does provide a surround sound experience. When gaming enemy soldiers are heard sneaking up behind you. Also in fully charged battery last for quite some time

This headset has been reliable and is very comfortable! The only thing I wish I could change about this headset is making it just a tiny bit bigger.

Love the headset. not a huge personal fan of 7.1 SS. i had it on my last headset as well and just don't like the directional audio they provide. but overall this headset is awesome. can hook up to any device while being wireless to a PC. very well made with quality parts. I would recommend it to any gamer out there. Battery life is crazy. RGB is a good plus if you have other corsair products. I have 4-5 RGB items from corsair so tthey all sync together Also, would like to have the top foam a little softer. but i wear it 5-6 hours at a time with no issue.

Coming from the Void headset these are okay. The void was more comfortable and had better sound. These unfortunately are a bit on the tight side and rather pricey for what you get. Purely from a headset point of view they are much nicer looking, have great battery life and better range than most I’ve tried.
