Headset is great I would test fit it at a store first to make sure it’s not too tight on the jaw line.

These get a little heavy after about 60 minutes of wear time. Sound quality and finish is far above anything else in the same price range. Would solidly recommend to anyone looking for a premium headset that does not mind taking short 15 minute breaks every 1 to 2 hours of use.

I bought a wireless mic for a reason to replace my steel series arctis 7. The headset needed an update out of the box which I expected, but the adapter was so bad while gaming I was either cutting out heavily or way way to quiet to be competitive in any of the games I was playing. I tried plugging it in with the included usb type C cable and even then it made no difference. It is great for music and YouTube but like any corsair wireless headset it is too good to be true especially when it costs over 200 dollars. The only other gripe I have with it is that it is a little heavy and get annoying after 30min of use.

Amazing quality, they look and feel so premium, but I'd expect more compatibility with other consoles and devices for something at this cost. Packaging is nice, but the weight also sucks on them. Hurts my head after a couple hours.

The headset is too stiff and very uncomfortable. The clamping force starts to hurt your ears if you use them for long periods of time. For the price these should be VERY comfortable and that is just not the case here! Corsair should really increase the size of the earpiece or give you an avenue to adjust this. The performance of the headset is what you would expect from Corsair.

Very well built, seems better built vs the black version. Good clear sound and decent bass. The rgb isn’t overwhelming and they are very comfortable.

This headset is good for a lot of things but I just do not think that it is good for FPS games. I have a hard time hearing where shots come from even after tweaking the EQ and Stereo/7.1 surround sound. The design is great because they remind of Beats by Dre. They are also good for console games in which I will not switch this from being my main PC headset to my XBOX headset.

      Hi Snapp,

Thanks for the feedback. Is this issue you're having just when using it on Xbox? May be due to the limitation to Stereo on it.

    From a Corsair fan...

I really wanted to love this headset. For reference I have Corsair's K95 RGB Platinum keyboard, Scimitar and Glaive mice, and previously had their aluminum headset stand and mouse pad. After spending $500 on their products I took the plunge because they audio is good and the design is very pleasing. It advertises a 30hr charge so while charging wireless products is a huge turn-off for me, thats no so bad. From the beginning people were saying I was far away, muffled, quiet, or randomly crystal clear while in Discord. Zero consistency. On top of this, the mic mute button would randomly not work. I would let the headset recharge only to hear a low charge warning every 5hrs. Could the battery have been defective? Yes but that doesnt excuse the other issues I have never had with their cheaper headset which I broke out of the closet and continued using after returning the Virtuoso. For $220 + tax Corsair needs to do a lot better. I am heavily considering changing brands when I upgrade my keyboard/mouse setup in a couple years.

I thought the audio through this headset was good as the listener, but when in Discord the microphone wasn’t any better than my previous headset. However, after only 1 session I returned the headset and ordered a different one. The headset relies solely on resting on top of your head, and there is very little padding to make that a comfortable experience.

I had these headphones for about a year and a half and decided to write this review after switching to another headset. What made me purchase these originally was mic quality, this is what the Corsair virtuoso excels at when compared to other gaming headsets. That, unfortunately, is where the the positives end. After using these for a year and a half I switched to the HyperX Cloud Flight S, while the mic quality on the HyperX is not as good, the sound quality is SIGNIFICANTLY better. It's honestly a night and day difference sound quality wise between the two. The price for these headphones is pretty absurd for the quality of sound you get.

      Hi Mike,

Thank you for the feedback. You can adjust the sound performance to your preference via the equalizer within our iCUE software. As sound preference can be very subjective, we recommend our customers adjust the equalizer so they can fine tune the headset to each person's individual liking. These sound pretty great and the iCUE software does allow some customization. I do recommend setting them to stereo instead of the surround. The mic quality is also excellent. The one issue which was noted a few times in other reviews is just battery life.

So Iv had these for over a few weeks now, and lemme just say in terms of quality it’s really nice. Some upsides are the sound quality when playing games, the downsides are they hurt your ears after a few hours and you gotta take them off. The mic is pretty good aswell.
