I was hesitant to purchase these because of the reviews on comfort and after long periods my ears do start to get sore but after hearing the quality I'd rather deal with it then use anything else add in Dolby atmos spacial sound and it's incredible

The title kind of says it all. I am a Corsair fanboy and I was absolutely excited to see this headset on several "headsets with really good bass" reviews. They talked all about the clarity and breadth of the sound, which was all true, but the bass just isn't there for people who are always listening to music. I listen to a lot of metal, EDM, latino, and hip-hop music, all of which rely on good clear bass without drowning out the rest. This headset does not have that. But, if that is not a factor for you, get these right now. The wireless and wired options and uses are just insane. The fit would be perfect for anyone with a normal sized head (mine is huge so all headsets are too tight). The mic and boom are great and the portability of the headset is fantastic. The pouch is even really cool. The highspeed USB connections are great and the 3.5 jack is of good quality. I had to spend a good amount of time in iCUE though, and I even tried using 3rd party SW to pull some more bass out of the very obviously powerful speakers, but it just wouldn't come out. The sound I got when I first plugged them in was strange but that was because the surround sound was not playing well with the way it achieves the bass it has and it took some jiggering but I got that to stop and everything sounded good by the end of the night. I was hoping to get the bass figured out so I could keep them but at the price I can't really justify keeping the headset if I have to also go buy another headset just for music. TLDR: If you don't care about bass too much these are awesome.

Not too bad. Using it through the usb dongle is Way too quiet though. It works a lot better via 3.5mm hooked to my usb mic. The sounds are weird compared to normal Headphones as well. Lastly your ears will hit the walls since theyre really shallow. Build quality is decent-good. I probably would have been happier if i chose one of the razer products

It doesnt feel that comfortable for big heads, older corsair headsets were much more comfortable. Also one huge dissapointment is the fact youre paying a hefty price for a wireless headphone that cannot be used for your phone. Im definitely returning this and getting the xt version.

it’s wasn’t the or the worst good headset but they could have added way more things to make it feel better i think the drivers suck but the microphone is amazing it sounds like ur on a snowball mic i love the mic but the audio is mid very crappy audio

So don’t ignore all the other reviews. Very quality build but the sound is terrible. Sorry Corsair I like you, but this was a disappointment.

Awesome headset clear mic kind of hard to figure out on pc I still don’t know how to turn up game chat but sound quality is great I can hear footsteps clearly and know where people are at great headset all around has a soft and clear sound
