My box came with a missing cable, so this might not be a fair review. It disconnects from my computer occasionally and the all metal construction is not comfortable at all.

For the enormous price these thing are probably the most uncomfortable headphones I have ever worn. I can't use these for more than an hour at a time as the top of my head will get too tender to wear them. The battery life is also laughable if you use the RGB, The ICUE software is terrible. The only saving grace is it has above average sound. I now only use my Steel series 9x. Stay away from these over priced headphones.

They are speakers for your ears but nothing special that I can tell. The PROBLEM I have with them is how cheap the plastic is that connects the ear pads to the headset. There are 3 plastic tab type things that fit into the headset and then you spin it a little to lock it in. I have taken the earpads off exactly one time ever and that was once when I first got them 8 months ago. Recently, one of the ear pads came off and I noticed 2/3 tabs were broken completely off. The last one just broke off. I paid WAY too much for this kind of failure.

Bought this Jan 4. And as an over the road truck driver didn't try it for a couple of day's. When I did get the chance to use it.The wireless dongle was dead. I Couldn't get back to the store for a couple of weeks to return it. Because of my job. When I did get back i was told it was past the 15 day return policy. Even though I was trying to buy almost $600 more merchandise with the exchange not a refund . I was told they would not exchange it no matter what. So I took my broken headphones and walked out. And will just shop on Amazon exclusively now! Good luck bestbuy.

First, the sound quality of the Corsair Virtuoso RGB alone is worth the price. Although I have experienced a slightly deeper base with other similar gaming headsets, the overall sound quality of this model more than makes up for that. Base is not everything when it comes to enjoying good audio and overall gaming experience. Please note that my comments are just for comparison because the base is not bad at all and the whole audio quality sounded even better when connected to USB. In a gaming headset, immersion is just as important as the audio quality and they delivered that very well in the 3 games I tried: two on a gaming PC and another on a PS4. I am glad that Corsair took into consideration the whole experience, not just one feature. The mic also proved to be excellent in all the games I tried. Comfort is another feature I look for on headsets, especially when playing games for hours and these felt as good I had hoped for. They also seem to get even more comfortable after a couple of days but this is common with most good headsets. I just wish there was a little more padding on the top. As I mentioned before, they sound even better when wired but wireless is good too and I do prefer to be wire free when playing games. Also, you can tweak the software to improve overall audio quality to your taste. They have an overall premium look and feel. I was not too impressed with the RGB feature but was not disappointed either. I just prefer that type of feature on mice, keyboards and other things that are not on my head. Battery life is great. Totally worth it!

These are by far the beat sounding and least painful “gaming” headsets ever.

Would give them a 5 star but they have some issues with losing sound intermittently when connecting them directly to the computer with the supplied USBC cord.

The sound quality for these $210 pair of headphones is incredibly insulting. $60 budget headphones sound better than this. This is the third Corsair headphone product I've tried over the years and this being their high-end model shows me they should be avoided. This is not their forte. Astro does the best in the way of audio, but it is an investment. Hyper cloud x 2's are exceptional for their lower entry price. Avoid this utter garbage though. A complete waste of money no matter how you look at it.
