Good company, bad product

I've bought 4 headphones the past probably 10 years or so. 2 of them were corsair (including this one) and both corsair head sets were just beyond terrible if you want good headphones go with the Plantronics rig 800hs. $150 lasted me over 3 years till I blew them on accident playing clone hero so I just bought these and will definitely be returning ... Sad thing is these are actually really comfy, feel extremely good quality built but the audio is just trash..

Did you try adjusting the audio settings via iCUE? 7.1 surround sound may be enabled and there's various EQ presets to choose from - or you can create a fully customized EQ profile that tailor to your ears. The build quality of the headset is very nice and feels sturdy. If you game a little "rough" this headset should hold up, but at the price point I would advise you to be gentle with it. My only gripe with the headset is the location of the usb/charge port. If you try to use the headset while plugged in, it will poke you in the shoulder and is quite annoying. Other than that though, its a solid headset.

They are of great quality only bad thing I have to say is the cups for the ears are not very comfortable or fluffy.

I highly recommend you simply do not install ICUE. It will cause the headset to cut out, and just simply not function correctly. It will also cause your computer issues. The base EQ for the headset is not amazing by any means, I again recommend you have some form of personalized EQ for this headset. I use Dolby Atmos, and since I got rid of ICUE I haven’t had any bad experiences with this headset. Prior to figuring out the issue, it was a much different story.
