Great headset even as 7.1 Surround

But after getting used to it I like it a lot! You can set to 7.1 surround option in ICUE software on your computer.

Anytime I would talk or if my friends would talk, they would hear an echo just because of my headset. you couldn't hear any footsteps or anything you can't adjust any of the settings.

And sorry to hear, but please note that XBOX is not the only console that exists. These would work well (even wirelessly) with a PS4. I'm afraid that for XBOX you'd be limited to using them with the 3.5mm jack as you've experienced, but the issues you're seeing are not normal. Microphone pics up sounds from the entire room and the actual headset is extremely uncomfortable. I just wish I was still within buyers remorse because I have never been this unhappy with a product

Got a replacement and got the same thing. Turns out it’s the software. And if you update the firmware to accept multiple devices with iCue it doesn’t work and bricks the headset.

However, seems to have issue with the wireless connection where people aren’t able to hear me. Goes away after connection stabilizes. Comfort wise took a bit to get use to as the top phase more pressure on my head than my old HyperX. So liked the mic LED so I knew when it’s on/off.

But there is a another Ear-cup you can get with more depth and comfortable. I had to return it.
