Received the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless Gaming Over-The-Ear Headset about a week ago and have been putting it through its paces. Very impressed with this headset and sleek design from the start. It comes packaged very well inside the box. Along with the headset and user documentation comes: • A nice storage pouch for carrying/travel • USB-C charging cable • Wireless USB transmitter • Detachable mic • 3.5 mm audio cable Connecting the detachable mic to the headset is fairly easy as it connects to the bottom of the left ear cuff. The manual instructs you to go to Corsair’s website to download the iCue software to customize the headset to you liking which also allows you to the full features of the headset. Using the headset without the software will leave some features disabled. After getting everything setup, I started testing out a couple of games on my Acer gaming laptop. First off, I must admit that the headset fit a lot better than what I was expecting and was very comfortable. It was not as stiff or tight (in a clamping way) as I heard from others. It felt pretty good. The only awkwardness was when I initially put them on and trying to adjust as I wear glasses. However, both sides of the headset adjust out with cool numbered markings so you can find your perfect fit. Sound quality both on my PC and PS4 was amazing. The sounds of the games were crisp and clear and I could hear others quite well with no lag or static. My favorite part of this headset aside from its sound quality is the sleek design. I love the gunmetal color of the headset and the comfortable fit. The controls on the ear cuffs are really nice (especially the volume control). On the bottom of the left ear cuff is the audio cable port, charging port, as well as the port to plug in the mic. On the right side is the forever scrolling-type volume control, as well as the switch to go from wired to wireless. Amazing headset that I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice headset that’s comfortable and a solid build.

The Corsair VIRTUOSO gaming headphones are up there with some of best gaming headphones I have tried. Build quality feels premium with the aluminum parts. The overall look is aesthetically sleek, black with aluminum looks great, with the RGB Corsair Logo on the cups. Setup is easy, you can change settings with Corsairs ICUE software. Sound is provided by 50mm high-density neodymium speakers. The microphone is clear. It also comes with a carrying pouch which is nice and many manufacturers do not do that. It also comes with an AUX cable, 3.5mm cable, and a wireless dongle. I played several hours with different types of games and I find the sound great for my taste, with any good set of gaming headphone you may have to adjust settings to your liking depending on your game. Overall this is a quality set of gaming headphones.

You will be absolutely immersed in the game or video you are into while using these headphones Sound can make or break an experience and these there. Don’t break, they enhance Deep clear sound, removable microphone, and all cordless While wearing them, you are going to look killer. Deep black and sharp accents, these look as good as they sound Utilized for multiple hours with a recharge, and simple recharging after. Won’t let you down

I am very happy with this new Corsair headset. It is my first ever headset from Corsair, and I am impressed with the built quality. The headband and ear cups are plush and comfortable. The metal hinges feel beefy and do not creek at all. The RGB lighting in the earcups is BRIGHT, which is good for people who like lighting. I personally disabled the earcup lights in the corsair software, but only to save battery life. USB-C charging is a welcomed feature, and I had no issues updating firmware through the usb-c cable either. Overall setup is straightforward and simple to do. The software is easy to use and is very customizable for sound and lighting. The removable mic feels sturdy and made from quality materials. The end of the mic actually lights up, which I really like. Because it doesn't have a flip-up-to-mute mic like some other headsets, when you hit the mute button by your jaw, the tip of the mic glows red, so you can easily tell if your mic is on or not. Sound quality tests on the mic have been positive, my friends said my voice was coming in crystal clear. Some reviews online have shown that you can get slightly better mic quality while in cabled usb mode, but the wireless audio was more than respectable compared to most other wireless headsets. I would absolutely recommend this model.

Overall very nice wireless headset and microphone with good quality sounds, iCUE program and good microphone. Good Battery life. Well worth the price thus far.

Greatest microphone ever. Sound quality is good too. I have a bigger head so comfort is huge. These fit my head relatively well. The wireless connectivity is easy to use and convenient.

These headset are pretty awesome. I use them for mainly gaming, work, and sometimes phone calls. I have two dogs which have knocked them off my desk sometimes, so I they can take a decent beating. Due to the amount of falls they have had, I did have to contact Corsair for replacement ear muffs (which they did for free no problem), and I also bought some third party ones to try out. It’s super easy to replace them, even with having the plastic locking pieces broken. The dual Bluetooth function is also awesome. I can be on a phone call via my cellphone, while still being able to hear and play whatever is actively happening on my computer. I haven’t had any issues with the audio portion while it’s plugged in, but I believe due to the amount of damage I’ve done to them, the Bluetooth audio has become a bit distorted. I can still hear everything just fine. I’ve had a lot of different vendors and brand, but these have held up beautifully. I highly recommend for both working in a professional environment, or for gaming. Only real downside I have with all Corsair products is how awful iCUE is, but even then, it’s easy enough to work around.

The CORSAIR - VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Over-the-Ear Headset for PC/Mac, Game Consoles, and Mobile - Gunmetal is worth more than the dollar amount that it cost. They give my ears an experience similar to listening to a movie in an IMAX theater. I can differentiate amongst all the different sounds clearly. Viewing my computer or TV screen with the CORSAIR - VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Over-the-Ear Headset for PC/Mac, Game Consoles, and Mobile - Gunmetal on gives an experience of actually becoming absorbed into the game or video that I am watching. The ear pads are extremely comfortable with a thick soft cushion material. My ears fit inside the ear pads with no tightness or discomfort. The size of the ear pads completely engulf my ears and keep all outside noise from being heard. The attachable microphone delivers clear and crisp audio. I can hear all aspects of my gaming experience more clearly with the CORSAIR - VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Over-the-Ear Headset for PC/Mac, Game Consoles, and Mobile - Gunmetal similar to the higher ended headsets on the market that I have previously used.

4 stars out of 5 is very fair. A year is just around the corner and the quality of the ear muff and headband are super cheap. I have had to buy a replacement ear muff twice. However, the sound quality is clear and crispy. Also, the microphone is actually good, Mic picks up my voice pretty clearly.

The packaging and build quality are excellent. I like that they included the aux cable, bag and USB c charging cable. They are just OK for sound but they are uncomfortable when wearing as they feel too tight. Also I do not like the wireless dongle needed to make them work on my PC. Would have been better if it were just fully Bluetooth. The Mic works well and is detachable. I would recommend these if you did not mind the dongle for games or online conferences where you needed to isolate outside noise.

Wonderful sound quality, blocks out most outside noise while in use. Fits perfect over my ears and on my head, no discomfort. Easy to use controls.

My son, who is an avid gamer, has used many headsets over the years. He tried this one and immediately made the change to it. He says the sound is better than most any he has used. In addition, this headset is very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Great except 1 major inconvenience. The hearthrough/sidetone is absoloute garbage. I upgraded from the Hs70 headset which was way too shallow for my ears. These sound better, the mic is better, the earcups are deeper and more comfy. Literally better in every way except the hearthrough...the hs70 had great hearthrough....these...you either have to shove the mic in your mouth so youre not yelling or you have to do some wonky tweaking in windows which still doesnt pick up ambient sounds and it catches major lag. I absoloutely hate this and it can be fixed with a software update, so...corsair fix this please.

I'll start out with the fact that I have a large head. I wear 7 3/4 fitted hats. Every one of my accessories are Corsair, and I wasn't looking for a Corsair headset, as I don't usually think of them for high quality sound. The pros: Great build quality. Look super nice. Mic sounds great. Easy to setup. Sound quality is good. Ok: Couldn't tell a difference with the HIFI quality vs wireless. I own a pair of Audeze Mobious, and it's instantly noticable on those. (They keep breaking from my large head, hence looking for a replacement). Cons: At the largest I could make them, my head was killing me after only 2 hours of wearing them. Really disapointed, as the cups are small, and with how extended I had to wear them, I can almost gaurenty the would have snapped in the middle eventually. So in short, if you have a big head/glasses, I'd pass on these. For everyone else, they are a great looking, good sounding, great quality headset.

Great microphone, and enjoy the surround sound in games. I don't get any complaints of sound coming from the headphones to the mic from friends. Wireless lasts a long time. I really like the mic light for feedback about whether it's muted or not. 2 things I wish were better 1) I get a critical battery warning hours before the battery actually runs out. Slightly annoying because it beeps on occasion when it thinks the battery is low. Not enough to make me return it, but I have considered contacting Corsair to see it's meant to do this so long before the battery dies. 2) My ear ever so slightly presses against the inner speaker cover. I don't have particularly outwardly protruding ears. This hurt the first week of wearing them. Not so much an issue any more as my ears have adjusted.

Bought this headset in March 2021 and am still using it today. The original ear pads were suuuuper comfy. Especially with glasses. I've had to replace them a few times now and just buy them off amazon for around $20. I love this headset. I recommend it to anyone who will listen to me talk about it.
