Many appreciate the long battery life and wireless convenience, although some find the headset heavy and the bass response could be improved. Just keep looking elsewhere
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is terrible ... Terrible bass, somewhat mids but still undesirable and the highs when playing any games or music are sibilant. All sounds just feel unnatural. You really have 3hrs of play time max for any fps before your ears become uncomfortable or over sensitive to the highs. There is literally no soundstage when using VVS. Imaging is ok with some directional ques but I've definitely experienced better for $200 There is nothing HiFi about this headset. In better news the mic the great tho

Just go with the Void
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these in skeptical because of everyone reviewing how uncomfortable they could get and sure enough, they are uncomfortable. The headset clamps hard on your head so it starts to hurt and become uncomfortable after long periods of time. I had the Void for over 2 years and it has been the best bang for your buck and you can't go wrong. The sound is decent with a big sound stage but can not sound right at times to me whether it is missing bass or treble. I still have a headache from trying them on for less than a couple of hours. All these YouTubers explaining that they're great and comfortable are most likely paid to do these reviews or say the stuff that they are saying. Listen to these bad reviews because they do become extremely uncomfortable. Also, the charging port is on the left-hand side and not only that but it will dangle on your shoulder/neck because of where and how it is located. Save yourself some money, get the void pro and save yourself a headache and some money.

Posted .Hello Nrgpanda,
If the headset is removed once an hour so you can rest/stretch, then there shouldn't be an issue.
As for charging, please do so once you put them down for the day or for a while so they don't bother you by having the cable dangling.

Well Built Headset, Horrible Sound Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't think I've ever been this disappointed this much with a headset. Main reason is sound quality which is absolutely atrocious out of the box and even after using and making multiple EQ profiles, the headset still sound bad, but it is leagues better than the stock sound. The default sound is very flat, like, extremely flat and dark sounding. The headphone's tune is completely uneven and all over the place and attempting to remedy this in iCUE by making an EQ Profile does breathe some life into the headset, but the headphone is still noticeably missing a lot of detail. The comfort is ok, the build quality is very good and the mic quality is the best I've heard in any gaming headset. So if You don't mind how the headset sounds then this will be a perfect headset for you, I wish it could've been for me.

Razer does it better; don't be fooled by the looks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I agree with the reviewers that are stating that Razer makes a higher quality headset. This Corsair started to fall apart only weeks after I got it. The sound quality is decent, but nothing to write home about. The best thing about the headset is the mic; it's long enough, detachable, and has good sound. The RBG lighting is a perk I don't really use. I was hoping that these great looking headphones sound as good as they look, but unfortunately, the sound isn't really that impressive, and the build quality is nowhere near what I'd expect for the price tag. The headphones ARE easy to use and the controls are well-placed and intuitive, so that bumps it up to a solid 2 stars.

Not worth the premium. Warm ears/Non functioningEQ
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Metal/aluminum construction, RGB lights looks sick, Wireless capability, and MIC works good. Cons: Pleather earcups get warm (For me i couldn't stand it after like 1 hour) , Earcups feel like they HUG your ear too much or don't fit like they should (I'm assuming since the ear cup isn't oval shaped like an ear, it just sits on top of part of your ear) Biggest Con: Sound (When you mess with the equalizer, it'll compress whichever sounds you don't want to hear as much of but then... the sound will sound loud to compensate for the compression. ITS really weird. I updated the headset, the iCUE software but i'm not sure what it might be. So for Ex; if you want more Bass it'll sound bassier, and compress the Highs...But then after the bass was good the Highs will COME OUT OF NOWHERE and sound over the top and unnaturally high.

OOF
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are a lot of good things about this headset the reviews aren't wrong about. It sounds fine, the mic is great, looks sweet. The software has decent customizability (you can turn off all the lights, including the green "mic on" light) and I've only had some issue with Sidetone getting quiet sometimes. But one thing I ignored on other reviews was the comments about questionable comfort, and boy I was wrong to do that. I have a small head so I thought ahhh this is probably just dudes with huge heads having this problem. But this headset is very, very uncomfortable, maybe moreso because I'm a woman with a smaller head? But even then... I can't see how anyone who games for 3-8 hours a night could find these comfortable. Firstly and inexcusably, the earcup padding is WAY too thin. Top of the padding hangs on your ears, drivers get mashed against your ear. But! I replaced the ear pads with some Brainwavz ones and then they were ok. I can deal with replacing one thing on a headset. But then there's the headband. I wore my previous logitech g933 for 2 years at least, many hours at a time, all the time, and I never even thought about comfort because nothing ever bothered me even a little. Worst thing about that one was some creaking. After ~2 months wearing the Virtuoso the same way, not only did my scalp start hurting all the time even after not wearing the set for a day, I noticed my hair is straight up THINNING where the headset sits! So I bought an extra headset pad thing to put on the top.. as well as some wireless earbuds so I can let my hair grow back in!! So for this premium Corsair "gaming" headset, I've had to buy aftermarket ear cups, aftermarket headband padding, and am presently using this headset for JUST the mic while I use earbuds for sound. I think the sound quality is actually all really nice (once you adjust some channels and equalizers), but this headset is NOT made for gaming. A gaming headset needs to not cause your whole head pain when you're only 2 hours into a whole weekend of gaming. I wouldn't pay more than $60 for something this uncomfortable.

Real Review Real Person
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In need of a good pair of headphones for a newly built gaming PC, containing some corsair parts. Figured, I would get something that would work with my already existing ICUE software. After reading many reviews, some good & some bad, I decided to grab a pair of these headphones. They look and sound amazing****. *HOWEVER* BEWARE. I bought these to gain a high-quality, wireless pair of gaming headphones. Only to find out that the audio crackles and cut-out issues are all too real. No matter where i placed the USB dongle, the headphones continued to cut-out randomly for 1-2 full seconds at a time. Upon reading more into reviews, and forums, this is a major issue with this line of headphones. No matter what i tweaked in my ICUE app, they continued to have this problem. There were forums stating that you had to deescalate your software, and return to a BETA version. However, i felt i shouldnt have to uninstall all my RGB devices, then the app, reinstall a BETA app, and reset all my devices... just to make a 180$ headset function as it should, out of the box. To make things worse, I have very small ears, and could feel my ears rubbing the against the actual headphones, themselves. I tried to ignore this, for the sake of fixing the cut-outs..... But I couldn't imagine how bad it would be for someone with ears that slightly point out, or are on the larger side. I could wear this headset for 2-3 hours and have to take a break from the constant pressure on the superior aspect of my ear and the clamping force encircling the ear its self. All in all, they look amazing. They sound amazing, WHEN THEY DONT HAVE AUDIO drops, I guess you could wire them, and fix this issue... but they are called a wireless headset for a reason. Returned them after a few days. It's a no from me, dawg.

I have tried every model at least one time.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought the regular. The SE. The XT. I'm done sugar coating my thoughts on them. These are literally garbage. They look nice and are comfortable for an hour. I only bought them because they're metal. You must buy metal. These sound like earbuds that totally cover your ear. I have tweaked the equalizer, updated software. Tried old software. Tried external equalizing and DACs. Other software entirely. I've tried them wired through USB C I've tried them through 3.5mm headphone jack. Every. Model. Is trash. Any one who enjoys these, it has to be their first time using headphones. I absolutely cannot believe any of these products are more than $50. Unbelievable. The software is fine. Tuned them for HOURS and they sound like a drive thru speaker at best. I can't comprehend this. The only headsets I've used that are reasonably priced are HyperX and I have used my first pair of Cloud 2 wired for 7 years. I have used my Cloud Alpha S for years now and my original Cloud 2 still works. I just wanted a refresh. Maybe try something else but DO NOT BUY THESE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I wanted to love them so many times.

Tried them out not recommended
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is a glitch where the headset doesn't connect back to the dongle, or your Bluetooth. On the previous there was a reset button you could hit with a paper clip. however with these there isnt, so if you will buy them, get something like an insurance where you can replace them as much as you'd like.

A Lie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a true 7.1 surround headset. The information is EXTREMELY misleading to out right deceptive in its description of its capabilities. While I do like that you can switch between wired and wireless, this does not matter if it does not do what it says it's capabilities are supposed to be.

Poor sound and build quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They look cool… the quality ends there. They crack and crinkle at every movement they fit pretty bad in my opinion but I do have a smaller head so I won’t put that one against them. Even still they feel bad and are in comfy but at least they’re light. The sound on these things is poor quality. Idk who thinks these sound good but please go buy the HP omen mindframe for $80 and you will be astonished at the sound quality and comfort they have. They look pretty cool and cool your ears so you will feel so good while you play.

Bad Mic, Good Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the sound that comes out of these but the microphone is the worst. It picks up every little sound that happens around me or from me. It is so sensitive it heard my dog walking on the floor and a car passing across the street. If you want good headphones, I recommend these. If you want good gaming headphones, unless you have an external microphone, do not touch these.

A good attempt but lacking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headset is good, as others have pointed out the earmuffs are a little small but luckily I have a smaller head so they are fine for me. The thing that really bothers me is the cut-out from the dongle and sometimes when it is plugged in. It usually lasts like 3 to 5 seconds and then comes back in but for playing MOAB games this sucks. Also, the sound system with the bass boost eq setting will drop down the audio to try and get you to notice the bass better, and I'm not a huge fan of that. So I tend to leave them on Dolby atmos so the EQs cannot take effect.

Good till they just died on me.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had these headphones for about two weeks, great audio, no problems what so ever. I come home from work and my new headphones are just dead, they wont turn on, charge, or work. Ive tried everything from updating software, restarting computer. If i spent 40$ on these id be okay with it, but i spent near 200$ for a pair of headphones for two weeks and I am pretty upset to say the least.

Very Uncomfortable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a Corsair fan, and I love everything about this headset -- except it's probably the most uncomfortable pair I've ever worn. After a couple of hours, a painful spot began to develop on the top of my head but I figured it was just breaking them in. After a few days of constant use, my head is hurting even when I don't have them on. It's weird because it seems to have plenty of padding on the headband, but maybe it's just too narrow and is creating a pressure point? I've tried shifting them around, but it just causes a new sore area. I really don't want to take them back, but I don't think I can continue wearing them. I'd read a professional review where the writer mentioned it was a little uncomfortable after a couple of hours, but I discounted it.

There are far better options.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only thing decent about this headset, is it's look. The top headband is quite uncomfortable and after a little extended use, it's start to bother the top of my head. I can't even watch streams/videos on most streaming platforms due to the fact that even with all volumes turned up to 100% all I can hear are muffled whispers. I've just resorted back to using my desktop Logi speakers. I also can't use them for any longer that an hour or so at a time without my ears alone starting to sweat while in a cooled room. I would give it away, but, what's the point? I would throw them away, but, they still work. I guess... Also.
