    Amazing Mic Quality

I’ve had this headset for quite some time now, so I was able to see how well it handled for a few months. My initial thoughts on the headset were that the audio was fantastic and the mic quality was AMAZING. I still get compliments on my mic quality when I’m in a call with people, and they cant believe that I’d using a headset. The only negative side to this headset is definitely that after a few hours of wearing, it starts hurting the top of your head because it’s very heavy. Amazon sells headset headbands to put over the actual headband, and I thought that helped me a lot. Another issue I ran into was definitely with the icue app. Sometimes it stops working entirely, other times the RGB just doesn’t illuminate on the headset or ignores my custom RGB preferences. Other than that, get this headset!

The best mic, period. Uncomfortable. Good volume.

Compared with Sennheiser HD588 and Logitech Pro X Wireless. The Good The mic: This is absolutely the best-sounding mic for wireless "gaming" headsets. There is not any other mics that come close, period. Seriously, no hyperbole. The best. Detachable, mutable. Important note: The mic on the regular version sounds better than the SE model (yes, the cheaper model sounds better.) Sound Quality: Good once you get a good EQ tune. Strong Bass. Volume: These blew the Pro X Wireless completely away (Pro X Wireless this was noted in other reviews on YouTube for having low volume) Connectability: 3.5mm audio jack. USB cable for both audio and power/charging. Wireless USB Dongle. The Pro X Wireless? wireless dongle... You can plug it in and charge while using it but, you can only use them with a computer. Software: iCUE seems okay, easy to use, meh EQ tool, easy to turn off the RGB... because who cares about RGB on headphones... The Bad Comfort: These are rather uncomfortable. This may be the reason I return them. The round earcups are strange, no one has round ears. The driver is too close to my ears, pushing them into my head or at least making me feel them. The diameter of the earcup is small. I have an average ear size, I'd even say generically sized so IDK how they screwed this up. The fix would be to make the ear cushions thicker, such an easy fix and a complete oversight, a true failure. I am regularly adjusting the headset because I can feel them on my ears. No replacement ear cushion and they are only "leather" so they are a little warmer. The Pro X Wireless are miles ahead in regards to comfort and I could wear them all day( oval cups, thicker cushion, and a choice of fabric or leatherette are included.) The Sennheiser HD588 are perfect for me and going to be nearly impossible to move away from in regards to comfort. Sound quality(subjective): I had to spend time getting a good EQ tune. They sounded tinny out of the box. But I spent WAY less time than I had to on the Pro X Wireless. The HD588's are better (different class but, it doesn't matter, they sound better) Software: The EQ tool is acceptable. Conclusion The "good" rating comes from the comfort issues. I truly think it takes it down from excellent due to this.

Was so excited for these. They work and look amazing. Very good quality sound in wired or wireless mode. But huge con is the comfort. They were the most uncomfortable headset i have ever owned. After about 20 minutes of play time my ears were pressed against the inside plastic of the driver causing pain to my ears. Im not talking your normal discomfort from different fabric or new headphone feel etc. They were genuinely painful to wear. I absolutely recommend these if your head is smaller and you are sure it wont hurt you. Ive owned 2 pairs of hyper X(prob best sound quality) and 2 razer headphones all cheaper than these and never caused any discomfort like them. Obviously i returned them.

Ive worn a lot of headsets in my time and this is probably one of the ones I tried the hardest to like, but just couldn’t. Although the build quality and feel was premium, the surround sound was off and sounded garbled and the headband and earcups are extremely uncomfortable. They feel as though they are lined with wood or something, all jokes aside though they really should find a new material to fill the earcups and headband because it made my head ache every time i put them on. Overall, if you have a smaller head, they should be a good option, but for audiophiles or large headed individuals, i would go with a Turtle Beach or Steelseries headset.

this headset is really nice. However the only way to get proper sound is to customize your equalizers. Which can be a bit of a hassle. I wish the mic part was reversible as the charging port is on the left side, but my tower is on my right. Overall great purchase.

This is the best headset I’ve ever owned! Sound quality both speakers and mic. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because it’s not quite big enough for my head. My head is big, so it’ll probably fit most people’s.

These headphones were not stellar by any means when I first took them out of the box. Adjusting to their fit was awkward and the out of the box sound was meh at best. But once I found a good EQ tune for these and I got used to how they fit and feel, they instantly became a 5/5 for me. I love the sound and comfort now and would highly recommend these to anyone looking to go wireless for gaming and possibly would need a wired option too, since these can also do that. Great headset!

This headset was a injustice to "premium headsets". For starters it sounds like i'm inside a shower no matter the audio i'm hearing, whilst reaching high octaves is no problem. I've uninstalled the iCUE software multiple times and even installed the beta iCUE no, avail okay lets spend a few minutes messing with equalizer settings, i've made it sound almost indistinguishable to a pair of Razer headphone Black shark (2012) only positive side being the mic sounded worlds better on Virtuoso. There have been similar issues involving this headphone since near November of 2019.

Corsair makes high quality headsets and the Virtuoso RGB is no exception. It feels well made and includes metal and plastic. The lighting isn't mind blowing but it's there as an added touch. Sound quality is pretty decent. Sounds a bit open with nice mids and trebles.

My son swears by these headphones it's his second pair after years of continuous use they finally wore out and started tearing in some spots but only because he used them everyday for years so all considering they've lasted really well and we just bought them again because we were very happy with. He'll keep his first pair as a back up or for his friends to use when they come over. Highly recommned!
