Sorry to hear about your experience. Have you tried playing around with the equalizer in our iCUE software? There are presets that may suit your games/music already, but you may also create a custom that specifically tailors to your ears. To help prolong battery life, you may turn off or dim the RGB lighting via iCUE. In terms of the range, it'd be recommended to have the USB dongle installed where it maintains direct line of sight of the headset. I will say that cleaning it is important but it is perfect in all other aspects for a casual consumer like me. I love the audio and the coloration and I have had corsair for a while and would basically recommend all of their products. They last.

Owned for 6 months, treated very well and the leather earcups have worn away, exposing the cheap foam inside. Corsair's software, icue, is also terrible at least 15 minutes of every day is spent diagnosing audio issues that inevitably require a forced restart of icue. Random popping noises from the headphones I swear have also caused me hearing damage

I use them more for zoom and team calls. I enjoy the ability to mute myself from the headset microphone.

Decent Headset

Not the best sounding headset but it’ll do. The microphone is very good but has one major dislike which is its battery life, the headset has a very short battery life and it constantly needs to be charged frequently compared to other headsets I’ve used in the past. There are other headsets to choose that are better and cheaper than this and that if this item wasn’t on sale, I probably wouldn’t even buy it since it may not be worth the price and quality you get for it.

It can get a bit heavy and squeeze your head a bit after prolonged gaming. 8/10
