The only reason why I replaced these is that the boom arm is used to control mute and unmuting, and when the boom falls down from the up position, it automatically unmutes you and you can be heard in a voice call. The product is solid in construction, sounds well, RGB works well with corsair CUE, and lasts. High quality product.

I replaced a Logitech wireless headset that I'd had for a few years with this and so far, I love it. I have a large head and will often be on voice for 3-5 hours at a time. I'm sensitive to anything that squeezes my skull or my temples, but I don't have any of those problems with this headset. The ear cups are soft and cushioned, so they block outside sound without having to apply a lot of pressure.

It didn't feel quite like it was emulating surround sound that well, and the mic quality, while clear, left a bit to be desired. Be clear that this is NOT bluetooth. It comes with a wireless dongle you need plugged into whatever you're using. Will not work with phones.
