Simple, Effective Headset, with a few Warts

I bought these for something other than their intended use: for work conversations on teleconferences. I routinely hold customer calls and run online events, and I rely on a good headset to make those events better. And I figured a gaming headset would be a good experiment. THE GOOD Fantastic control over the audio environment. I LOVE being able to flip to boom mic up to mute myself. Having a physical control over muting that you don't have to search for has become a must-have for work calls. Audio is very decent, with clear voices and good music fidelity. They're big and yellow...so you'll likely never lose them. Invest in a headphone stand and you'll be happy. THE BAD They're big. This really needs to be a stationary setup. Road warriors will want another headset. Dongles! This thing uses a big USB-A dongle. And that dongle isn't the highest quality, so it can wiggle loose from a port and disconnect at times. The included USB-A extension cradle helps alleviate that, but be careful around this thing. Is this thing on? And connected? It can sometimes be difficult to get this thing to reconnect to the computer. Battery Life: it can be short. But a hard reset often fixes that. OVERALL I imagine these are fantastic for PC gamers. I think they're very good for work calls on a computer as well.

Best Value & Sound. I haven't used a headset in about 4 years & always bought the regular Logitech USB type for $40 or so if I wanted a mic. This headset lives up to the 7.1 audio, with rich sound & deep bass.

I am a long time Corsair fan. This headset has great fidelity and is not super boomy like other headsets. They feature directional sound so you can pick up your enemies' sound and direction. The only small negative thing I can say about these is I wish they fit tighter on my head. I suppose for some folks this isn't issue. Overall this headset is a great wireless headset! I've had these for about a year now and I still have 0 issues with them!

I bought it initially for gaming, but I have been using it for my home office setup due to COVID-19. Sound quality is ridiculously good, taking phone calls with this thing is truly a game changer. For gaming, the sound is superb, the simulated 7.1 channel does the trick, but you can immediately tell that is not real 7.1, I wish it would deliver stronger bass, but for I what I paid I can't complain.

First time I charged them the light never turned green indicating a full charge until I unplugged them and then re plugged in the transmitter. Also when I take them off and turn off the head set and return to speaker mode only some of the windows will return to speaker mode. I have log out and back into my game to get that back on speaker mode. very comfortable for long periods of time and good noise blocking with good sound quality.

These in general are a little big for my small girl head, but they are fantastic because the ear parts are big and actually fit my whole ear in them (I have really big ears and a small head :( ...) The sound quality is great - I like that they are not noise cancelling. The mic is great too and the driver allows you to have mic feedback so you can hear yourself. Great for screencasts. These are the most comfortable headphones I have ever had!

As summary says, it's an amazingly sturdy headset with excellent sound. Metal frame, comfortable earmuffs, and it feels great on the head for extended periods of gaming (8+ hrs). Only issue, and not much of one, is that it is heavy due to metal frame. On the smallest hand settings, it might feel like it'll slip and slide off your head. But you get used to it, and it hasn't let me down yet. Sound quality is as good as its design. Both I'd say are 9/10.

Both the Void Pro and Void Wireless are great headsets. I sold my void wireless to a friend and got the void pros, here are my thoughts: Positive +Better ergonomics than standard Void +Slightly better range than standard Void Wireless +Slightly better sound quality than standard Void Wireless +Improved mic over standard void wireless Neutral -similar battery life -updated aesthetics Negative -still slightly heavy

The corsair void pro was a "$h!7 my headsets dead" stop gap purchase. I didnt have much in the lines of expectations for it other than to get me to my next headset. I was pleasantly surprised, its comfortable easy to use and works as advertised. The one draw back is occasionally the headset will expand and become to large for my already large head. Simply readjusting it before you put it on and you'll have no worries.

We don't have the greatest TV when it comes to the audio. I decided to get this headset after reading a few reviews on how it worked with the PS4. It is a great headset. The surround sound is great. Using it with Borderlands 2, I could hear footsteps behind me, cars circling me, etc. The only thing it doesn't have is a good bass and if you use it with a console the volume button won't work. You will have to adjust the volume via the console.

Easy to connect, easy to use obviously. Only downside is that it doesn't have it's own independent volume control, it uses the windows volume which isn't bad but for what I do, I definitely needed it's own control. Had to download an audiomixer to fix the problem but other than that, the most comfortable and great sounding headsets I've ever owned. I didn't really mess with the microphone though.

I purchased this headset when it was on sale, and I am glad I did because, in my opinion, it has some serious issues. First, it is heavy and clunky - meaning it is a lot to wear while gaming. The sound is great - but not so much over my last headset. The on/off switch has to be pressed just correctly or it will not work and if pressed incorrectly it will place the headset in "bootloader mode" rendering it useless until you can return it to its correct one. It took too much time to learn the tricks in this headset to make it a great deal!

...complaints. A couple times it seemed the battery died very quick and they went offline but I'm not sure if it was a glitch or not because when repowered they would be ok again. It's kind of a pain and a little annoying but it hasn't happened often. Otherwise, the battery send to be pretty good, sound\mic quality is good and they are pretty comfortable. You can find them on decent sales nowadays.

I got this product after owning Logitech headsets for years, which i was happy with also by the way. This Corsair headset is lighter to wear and i love the wireless ability vs the wired i've always owned. I often forget i CAN get up and walk around with them on. haha. I made the switch from the wired set i had owned because too many times the cord got wrapped up in my chair wheels and i'd pull them off my desk and onto the wood floor...where after so many times, the wood floor won and the logitech headset stopped playing sound out of one side. I didn't want to pay another 100-150 for a headset and do the same thing again. I decided to give this Corsair headset a try after reading a number of reviews and i've been very pleased with them. The mic sounds great to my friends on the other end of teamspeak (so did the logitech though) The only thing I think my ears are picking up differently are the 7.1 surround sound seemed a tad better in the logitech set but i'm not sure as its broken now so cant compare more fairly. That being said, i'm not disappointed in the surround on the Corsair either as there have been plenty of times in gaming i've jolted around due to a sound effect coming from the headset :) so its good regardless. I've been able to wear them for hours with no stress on head or ears either so i'm very pleased with the purchase and got them for about 70 bucks so quite please with the price/quality too. Music playing through them also sound just fine to my ears also so im happy that part of them works well also.
