Ok, but bad quality mic with no fix.

It certainly looks ok, sounds ok, but the microphone is not good. It is super quiet. I spent ten days fiddling with settings, options, and swapping between the old headset and this new one without getting anywhere. I submitted a ticket to Corsair customer service, and dropped a post on their forum. I also followed a six page deep conversation there as well, and all the suggestions did not help. The only option not tried was using a third party equalizer and I am not going to run that as a patch for the headset. I am returning this and will be on the hunt for something new elsewhere.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with these headphone. I guess it’s all in personal preference. Clamping pressure was a little lack luster, sound quality was fair. Just didn’t meet my expectations, so back they go.

Left side muffled and filled with static

I thought it was my PC until I tried it on another PC only for the same result. I played songs at the loudest volume to test and the left ear cup was just filled with muffled static.

However, all possible troubleshooting steps were performed to raise the microphone volume, yet it still barely registered. Absolutely do NOT recommend.

It has to be extremely close to the face in order to get good sidetone. Ultimately, I returned it and bought a different headset with a much better microphone. Thanks for the easy returns, BestBuy.
